Title: Do you have siblings?
Post by: pkrahmer on September 14, 2012, 05:06:08 am: Yesterday My baby brother was 43 which makes my feel old.
However, I do have 2 brothers and feel very lucky to have them in my life. Even tough I am the oldest and they never listen to me anywayI love having siblings!

Post by: rabbitpbcup on September 14, 2012, 05:18:56 am: i have a few step brothers, but not much contact and it really sucks i am only 32 and lost both of my parents so its pretty lonely i feel bad for SINGLE children families who dont have siblings to lean on when parents pass, i have 3 children and glad i do =) :heart:

Post by: bretay on September 14, 2012, 05:19:42 am: I have 2 sisters and 2 brothers.I am the oldest being 50.My sisters are my real sisters being 48 and 45.My brothers are from a second marriage ages 41 and 36.And my sisters will listen to me but not the boys.And they do make you feel old.Whisch my oldest daughter and is just barely 2 years younger than my youngest brother

That's on me though. I kind of dissapear at times while I'm working on projects and trying to figure stuff out and keep most people way beyond arms length so I can stay focused. This has been going on for a long time though. Hopefully I'll get everything together soon so I can focus on family.

i come from a big family 4 brothers and 4 sisters were 9 all together

Post by: jowbow on September 14, 2012, 10:52:26 pm: I feel lucky about my family. There a 27 kids. I know that is a lot but let me explain. There is myself and twin brother. Then there is my adoptive brother and sister which are twins. Then there are the 23 foster children my parents help raise. I did have time to be with both my parents. There was enough love to go around. And to this day I still talk to all the foster kids my parents raised. Holidays are still family time in my house. Some kids come and the some done but we all gather around the computer for the family conference call. The only thing I don's like is that I have not talk to my twin brother for 5 year and that is not because I have not tried to talk to him.

Post by: skrogman on September 14, 2012, 11:16:36 pm: I am the youngest of 7, and am 42. My oldest sister is 55, then a brothers at 54 and 53, fraternal twins at 52, and I lost a brother who was 7 at the time, when I was 18 months old to leukemia.

They were joined at the side and shared a few organs. Technology wasn't as great 47 years ago. Their names were Faith Ann and Hope Lynn.

Post by: ejholt on September 15, 2012, 06:47:51 am: There were me and my brother who was 5 years younger than me. He passed away almost 10 years ago at the age of 56. He had cancer and I saw him suffer. I miss him so much. 3 years before he passed away we lost our Mother. I miss them so much. I lost my Father 24 years ago and it seem only like yesterday. Plus I have two "step-sisters" (our parents have been dating for 12/13 years now, but are not married) one being 3 months older than me and one a year and a month younger.

My brother and i are a lot alike. People thought we were twins for a long time. My full sister is differant. I basically raised them from the time i was 10 as my parnets split up and mother had to work. Then along came my stepfather and he is is still our father even thugh my mother passed away at an early age.

If she isn't in the middle of her twenty three hours of sleep she is rude and nasty. Her husband enables her behavior by taking care of everything around the house and paying cash for her prescriptionsso that they can circumvent the medical system. He is afraid to say anything when they go to marriage counseling because he has an occasional touch with drugs. Messed up situation.

My younger brother is two years younger then me. Some people I know consider their bother or sisters spouse as their sibling too but I just can't do that, she's my sister in law and that is it.

My mother now has 4 granddaughters and no grandsons. I know I have a few stepsisters from my father's 2nd marriage, no half siblings on that front, but i am not sure if they are 2 or 3, I am not close to them, nor was I too close to my father, before he passed away.

My little brother was always the hype type, Always out running around doing everything up under the sun. He listened to me sometimes (Sometimes). I have two kids myself, and they are my life. :bunny:

With my parents gone, it would be lonely without siblings.

The oldest is a girl she will be turning 40 here soon. The second oldest was another girl she would have been 37 this year but she passed two years ago a few days before her birthday in november. The next one would be me not telling my age but i am a girl also. Then finally came my brother he is about 32. Then came the twin girls they are at the age of 30. That to me is alot of kids.
