Along with money, I give food to food banks, clothes to goodwill, beauty products and old cell phones to women's shelters, books to my kid's school and stuffed animals to the local fire department in addition to anything else I stumble across.

Any clothes or old toys of mine get donated. Most of my stuff goes to the local women's shelter.

I donate money to several organizations.  Non-monetary donations I make are typically food stuffs to local food banks, or old clothes/housewares to Goodwill.

I donate money monthly to TCT network (Total Christian Television) and Victory Christian Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They have mission outreachs and my mother suggested I give so that the money could help others in these outreaches.

My mother gave food to when I was sick to place I stayed at to get care in the past. She still does now from time to time.

I donate to shelters.  I'm not fond of giving to charities with only thrift shops because I want them to put my things to actual use.  That way they can either use it or sell it.
