Title: Hard to Keep Speaking English
Post by: tuscarorarain on October 26, 2012, 02:22:06 pm
I get so frusterated sometimes. I spoke a little Iroquese as a child and now I speak a lot of Navajo, but when I speak English that deep Navajo comes out. In Navajo you put the subject ahead in sentences. I typically type fine, but when I speak it comes out jumbled in English.

I can only really speak English but I hear it is one of the hardest languages to learn. I used to speak some German but it has been years since I have practiced and I can only remember little bits of it. I think it is great you can speak multiple languages and it is easier to overlook the errors when you know other languages. If it is your native/only language then you don't have much of an excuse if you make mistakes.
