I like the fuzzy ones. Wear thermals, booties and gloves to go to sleep. I do not like electric blankets because you can get burned using them.

I have an electric blanket, but I also have what some people in Alaska call 3ply blankets.  They are heavy and soft.

That sounds comfy!

I have not used electric blankets in awhile. My son and I use these thick blankets my dad bought in mexico when he was a Charter Bus Driver. He bought so many that we still have some we use and some in storage. They are very colorful and nice patterns.

No electric blanket for me. I like a warm regular blanket. And as long as the heat is on, I am comfortable.

I love them both. Electric blankets help warm the bed before going to bed!

I don’t use electric blankets nor do I use multiple blankets. I use my winter blanket which is pretty thick to keep me warm for the winter. I’m glad I made that investment last year.

I used to use electric blankets all the time...so much so I bought one for each of my kids and they used them to the point where they burnt up.  I never replaced them since I found out that when your sleeping  . .the less you wear with enough blankets than your body naturally burns more calories when your sleeping.  Don't get me wrong my favorite comfort sleep is with a heat blanket under my sheet so when I climb in bed it's toasty warm.

I read that electric blankets are NOT good for your health. [electricity factor/ EMFs]
 Duvets are very warm.
A friend made an afghan for me that is warm.

I prefer a blanket, I don't trust electric blankets, I don't think they are safe.

I prefer the thicker blanket. Electric makes me nervous with the dogs jumping on and off the bed

I'm alergic to wool...I don't like down.  I prefer blankets relatives have made with yarn...

I use regular blankets and quilts. I don't think I've ever tried using an electric blanket; I'd probably be paranoid that it would catch afire.

I love Electric Blankets, for those who are worried they will catch on fire, they are still great to turn on and get the bed warmed up before you get in it...I don't know something bout a nice snuggly warm bed makes it easier to fall asleep!!
