deep fried Pork Skin? Love eating it as a snack and dip it in Vinegar with pepper and chopped garlic.
-
Are you referring to the store bought air puffed kind? Because I am Mexican and I eat the "Real Stuff" We make Tamales with fresh pork, and then we slowly fry the fat all day, until it becomes crunchy and the grease is cooked out of it. We drain them well, while we make homemade sals and homemade corn and flour tortillas. We them lay a rind on a tortilla, and put the salsa on top and roll it up and its ready to eat.....Delicious!!!

I ate them once. The store kind. The home made kind sound like they could actually be good.
-
Sure I eat them, but I watch out for the ones that have the little hairs growing out of them.

O_o ... Oh my god I never thought of doing that but that sounds godllyyy :angel12: I must try that out, Do you do it with home fried pork skin or store bought? I usually get mine at the Mexican market where the Carniceria is- Meat/Delli.

I love pork rinds I have tried a variety. I love the fact that they have 0 crabs, bu I still have to watch it because of the calores. :icon_rr:
-
Yes..I like the BBQ flavor.
-
I don't eaI crunkt them, but myboyfriend likes them, so I buy them for him. I also used them in a recipe for him once--I rolled chicken in crushed pork rinds and other ingredients and baked it. It came out like crispy fried chicken. Got the recipe from a web site. Sounded gross to me, but he really liked it!
-
I eat them every now and then...prefer the real deal to the air puffed ones.
-
Listen folks, I love the Pork, with lots of fat, especially when it is Jerked. Then you add some festival and jerk sauce and it is heaven here on earth. Can you imagine it
-
Hey have you tried pork rinds with vinegar?
-
In reality it sounds really gross, but they are so tastey so I say yes
-
The store bought kind yes. I haven't had them for many years now. :)

-
oh yes the whole family likes them,,i like the barbq ones :cat:
-
The home made ones are the best. It is one of the things i miss living in town is you can't grow your own livestock and do all the good cooking outsde in large pots we did then. But am going up North here soon and some friends will be doing their usual winter stockup. and will have nice fresh pork rinds Yum.
-
Ohhhh yessssss! Used to make my own and now spoil myself every now and then with the store bought kind. I suppose it's not good for cholesterol, but they're sooooooo yummy!!!!
-
I used to eat the kind bought in the store and liked them, but I have had to stop eating them. I remember as a child (many, many years ago), my family butchered hogs, and we ate the WHOLE pig, everything imaginable. I remember eating the skin, but it was a little tough.
-
I don't eat them anymore....but they are definitely delicious.
-
We just enjoyed the curly pork rind, cracking just right.
-
OMG, I was just at the store and talked myself out of buying them. I love eating them plain but tear my mouth apart so eat them very little.
-
Yes I eat them but not all the time though, I guess you can say they are just ok. I would not say they are a favorite to eat. Whenever I do eat some I like to eat the BBQ flavor.
-
I love the bbq flavor and the salt and vinegar! YUM! ;D
-
I do enjoy eating them! In fact, I just had some today!
-
I've never had them before. I've also never really had a desire to try them. Maybe someday I will, maybe not. :dontknow: I think if I do try them, I'd like to be able to try store bought and homemade.
-
I tried pork rinds before but didn't much like the taste, my Mom God bless her use to eat them and she said that she had some awful nightmares afterwards :sad1:.....my Dad couldnt get enough of them ;D
-
sometimes, i like the spicy kind.
-
I only like Cajun ones. My husband loves them in general though. I only grab them as a low carb crunchy snack once in a while though.
-
i dont but hubby and my daughter does
-
I sure hate to admit it but I love those things, I like the  spicy ones ! I know if inspected closely they look quite disgusting and the whole where they came from is just awful but every time I delve into a bag while watching a favorite on TV I'm so thankful for the person that thought the idea up! Yum, yum lol What can ya do :dontknow:
-
I get them once a month as a treat for my husband. He would like to have them all the time but there is to much salt in them.
-
Idont like pork rinds anymore

I think I've only tried the store kind, but the Mexican kind sounds good. :D

Love pork rinds. The local BBQ restaurant here makes them and soaks them in their vinegar sauce. You just have to catch them on the right day.
-
I do not eat porkrinds, I actually don't like the taste of them.
-
Sure I eat them, but I watch out for the ones that have the little hairs growing out of them.
YUCK!!! There's another reason why i won't eat those things. ewwwww
-

I've never tried home made or store bought. If I had a choice, it would be home made. The store bought ones look like a waste of calories to me- no nutritional benefit whatsoever. Just processed food ingredients. I like to enjoy my junk food, but I do like it to have ingredients I can pronounce.
-
Only the real ones. Raised on a farm and if you have had the real ones the rest are fakey tasting. When we were kids that is the first thing we wanted. and Grandma made so good ones. I learned how, but it was a lt of work, also worth it.
-
I have tried them, they are absolutely gross and disgusting
