i do both but mostly at the stores it is just easier then to have to worry about if your order from online will get to where it should
-
I shop online. I don't care much for crowds. Shopping online is easier and more convenient for me.
-
99% online. My time is worth the wait of a few extra days.
-
Every year I find it easier to shop online. I can do it on MY schedule and during the holidays, shipping is usually free. I also live where the big stores aren't as available, so online gives me more choices.
-
I shop 40% online and 60% in stores.
-
I do both. I like shopping in the stores in case I need to return things, but it is way more convenient online.
-
I do ALOT of shopping online, however, i enjoy shopping in stores also..
-
I don't like to shop but will the stores
-
I shop online.
-
I do a little of both! I like to shop online if I can get free shipping! And of course a really good deal!
-
I tend to do most of my shopping online. Tend to find better deals and make money back doing it.
-
I love shoping in the stores but some time on line to.
-
i do half my shopping online at amazon and the other half in stores,,, :cat:
-
I do love shopping on the stores but sometimes are thing that I shop online also.
-
we shop Amazon sometimes, mostly we go to the store. We are going to try an do more online shopping this year.
-
It really depends on what I'm getting. I'll buy games and books and such online cause they generally don't have issues. Plus, I don't have to worry about size or that they fit or anything. Plus I've never had an issue where any of them are wrong. However, clothes and food I would rather pick out in person so I can determine if that dent in the box is good or not or if the size I'm ordering is right or if I should get a size bigger.
-
I prefer the stores unless you get free shopping you pay more adding shipping cost to your bill. Unless it's something you can't get from the store why pay more
-
i do both...most of my christmas shopping is done in stores but i still go maybe one time or two a week to amazon and see what they have on sale ;)
-
i do both
-
Online. Any time I can avoid shopping in the stores I will.
-
i do both but mostly at the stores it is just easier then to have to worry about if your order from online will get to where it should
i do both i like shopping online because it saves me time and save gas. if you ask me you spend about the same with the gas and the shipping. its a lot easier.
-
depends what I am looking for and the time of year
-
i do both but mostly at the stores it is just easier then to have to worry about if your order from online will get to where it should
I prefer to shop online for the better deals than in the stores.
-
I do both.
-
I don't do much shopping at either places.
-
I get the change or transition to online from stores is not always appealing to people. The idea of fraud, identity theft and having a tangible item can deter one from making purchases online.
Personally I like going into stores, its a version of windshopping my patner and I enjoy. WE don't have to buy anything, a cup of coffee and do some laps in the mall pointing out things, talking and spending time. I do however use the store to further my research in items i wish to buy. I find, for myself, that budgeting and asking the question "do I really need this" helps to define my purchases.
Using online for reviews, price comparisons and rewards then the in store for tangible and research.
It takes some more time but my credit bills and debit account show healthy positive balances which is a plus for me.
As far as the rewards, check out Upromise, even ifyou aren't in college. The system is set up to help parents, grandparents and students to pay for college. It is a long term financial planning tool which costs nothing to sign up. But shopping online gets me money back on my purchases, also I can link my cards so that when I buy gas, grocerries or eat out I get money back.
Kind of like a unique savings account, I even make more interest in my Sallie Mae Bank accoutn (through Upromise) than other banks are offering. I get 3% (now) on my savings quarterly and annually verses .3 or .5 % monthly. My money works for me, which is how people get rich and stay rich.
A great book to read about finances and what works best for you is Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert T. Kioskvy.
HOpe that helps

doing more and more of my shopping on line. Than I can just pick up small things in the store makes things a lot easier.
-
I shop both
-
Normally I like to shop online, however this year I have been doing more shopping in the stores.
-
I shop at the store and online. About half at each. I find that I can't always find a specific gift at a store if it is a bit unique.
-
A few years ago when I didn't have a car, I would buy a lot of presents online cause that was the only way to make it a surprise without trying to hide it in my coat.
However, if it's something for me, then it depends. If it's something that's expensive or specific to comfort like shoes, clothes, maybe even a chair or something, then I prefer to buy in stores so I can test it out before taking it home. However, if it's something generic or standard like DVD, certain electronics, or something that I liked in store but they didn't have available, then I'll just get it online cause I can find it a bit cheaper and don't have to worry about returning it generally.
-
I prefer online I don't like crowds or the the rude customer service that seems to be the norm now I only go to a actual store if I have to
-
I'm an online shopper, if I can get free shipping. I like stores, but I get fatigued looking at all the merchandise.
-
I just read an article where a man opened fire at a mall and killed 2 people. Needless to say, I will be doing ALL shopping online from now on! :-
-
both like to go to stores but online saves time.
-
A few years ago, I injured my foot around the holidays and could not shop at the mall. I did all of my shopping online including stocking stuffers. It was so nice having UPS dump all those packages on my doorstep.
I now do the majority of my shopping online. I have a few things I have to run to the store for. I am able to choose non busy times (mid afternoon is usually good).
Now all I have to do is wrap. I may be off to the dollar store to buy a few gift bags. LOL.
-
:) We shop Amazon a lot and buy gift cards.
-
I usually shop both ways but this year all my shopping has been done in the stores.
I was lucky enough to find what I was looking for so there was no need to order anything online.
-
I love to shop online, cause I don't like to deal with the crowd.
-
Yes I do shop online I enjoy very much.
-
I do a combination of shopping online and shopping in the stores! but usually just end up just walking around the stores and buying almost everything on-line
-
When I have regular funds coming it I do prefer to do at least 80% of my shopping online, I would do even more especially at Holidays as I do not do lines well, lol :P I do have to say when I'm forced to actually shop in store I do have some fun and satisfaction, lol
-
I perfer shopping in the store because i could see what i want an be able to ask about certain things
-
I do both! Moreso in brick and motar operations. I don't like putting my CC info on the internet all that often. I also would like to support my local businesses that do not have any Internet presence.
-
When at all possible, I like to shop online. It is really a pain to park and wander around somewhere and then wait in line again... so annoying.
-
Both. It depends on the products and if I can get a better price in the store or online.
-
I mainly shop online. But I have gone to the stores. I do have to go for a few last minute gifts on Monday.
-
I have been switching from store shopping to online shopping over the past few Christmases. Online shopping is just so much convenient. And near the holidays you get free shipping so there are really no cons to it. I feel like shopping online keeps you aware of how much exactly you are spending while in stores or the mall you glance at the register for a brief second. Plus, shopping in the convenience of your house is a lot better than the holiday crowds!
-
It depends. If its clothing i rather do at the store.
-
Both, but I find more options and things I like online.
-
I shop early and exclusively online anymore. There are too many crazy people ready to deck you to get a bargain. If you plan ahead, everything should arrive on time.
-
I shop online and in the stores.
-
I shop both but mostly in store.
-
I shop mostly in the stores that way you get to look at it actually in person and if it's clothes, you can try it on to see if it fits.
-
Mostly in stores bc i can see style look and see for myself and online hassle having to wait if i dont like return just is a hassle i thonk
-
I mostly shop in the stores. I like finding immediate bargains that I do no find online. On the other hand, I am leaning toward online shopping just to avoid long lines, avoid hearing crying, tired babies, and avoid catching others' sick bugs during the flue season.
-
Do all our shopping in stores.. Haven't got to the online stuff yet.. still wee bit old fashion when it comes to that sort of thing..
-
I just shopped online this year. I hope it will work out. I decided to shop online so I would make more points on some programs I am a member of. Also because the shipping was free. I hope it works out.
-
I do most of my shopping online. I work in retail and spend 10-12 hours a day dealing with the public. The last thing I want to do is spend more time with the general public and shopping online is easy and everything comes straight to my house. Usually the only time I will shop in store is if I am buying myself clothes. Nothing ever fits correctly without trying it on first.
-
I like to shop in-store, but I like shopping online more. It's far more convenient and can be done at any time of day/night. Some things (depending on where you shop & what you're shopping for) are only available online or maybe there's good deals that are only available online. It also saves gas to shop online, since there's no getting in the car and driving around. You can also find what you want, and then go pick it up.
-
I mostly shop online. There might be an item that I shop for in a store that I am not comfortable with buying online but that is really about it.
-
Since I began working, and I acquired a debit card, I began shopping online A LOT.
I use eBay for little things, like my phone case, my dad's phone case, my brother's iPod case, my friend's phone case...I think we get it. (?) Oh! And I also purchased a BB cream from Korea.
But other than that, I mainly use GMarket and YesStyle, and I have yet to purchase from YesAsia...hopefully I can find a second job to help me out ._.
-
i do some online shopping here and there. :)
-
Iv only shopped online twice in my life(i plain on doing it more often in the future)
-
I do both but I find it more convenient to shop online because it is much easier for me. I like it more than shopping in stores because I do not have to stand in lines and I can just checkout what I want to buy with just a click of the mouse. But there are times when I just want to go to the store and get what I want, if I can't find what I want online.
-
I much prefer online. mostly because I don't have a lot of time. Overall it has been a good experience.
-
i like shooping online becasue i feel happy when i recieve stuff in the mail but in the store is faster
-
I do some time some I do not I be thanking that they will get my nubr... do some thing to get my money off my card.
-
Online all the way! I hate shopping at the mall when there is a huge crowd!
-
I already commented on this as I do love to online shop about 90% of the time but had to come back and add that the lines right now are murderous and I'm betting the online shopping has picked up lol I can't wait till they advise on the news how it went this year, I mean to compare online to in store shopping!
-
I like to "shop" online. But I "purchase" in store! I like the chaos that the season brings! It would not be christmas without it! ;)
-
i love shopping online! more selections, it's easy and there are tons of promo codes you can find on google ;)
shopping in stores is only convenient for me when i need to try on the right size
-
More and More I find myself doing most of my shopping at Amazon.com. Just wish Amazon.com was in the FC shopping mall so I could get a percentage back on this account. Tried using amazon.com from here, but it didn't
credit for me... Other stores always do from here. Amazon always has the best deals and most of the time free shipping included.
-
It's easier for me online because you can find exactly what you want and you can search for the cheapest place in the comfort of your own home and you don't have to fight the holiday rush and it's usually cheaper online with coupons and promotions
-
I do both, but this holiday season I've done more online shopping simply because I haven't had time to go shop anywhere. I'll get some last minute things in store before heading out to see family.
-
I shop online for hard to find or unusual items. I shop in the stores when I see a really good deal in an ad
-
i do both but mostly at the stores it is just easier then to have to worry about if your order from online will get to where it should
I spend more time shopping online because I don't have to drag my little kids around with me- it's easier to shop secretly this way in my situation.
-
I do both. I find it easier at times to shop online. But yet need to hit the stores also.
-
Is very rare that I shop online. Once in a while I might buy something from an online store.
-
I don't care a lot for crowds but I do shop at both. It all depends on where I find the best deal. I like to shop for the bargains. I do like shopping but I enjoy the quietness of being able to shop from home and not have to wait in the long checkout lanes, especially at the Holiday time. It can be fun to shop in either place just all depends on the circumstance of the shop.
-
Both. Depends on what I am shopping for.. some items i prefer to see in person before i buy, or try on, etc. other items i find online so much cheaper and sometimes i find things online that i cannot find in local stores.
-
i do both, but i prefer to shop in the physical store...i want my merchandise now, i dont have to wait to my goods :wave:get
-
I have to say that I love the ability to shop in a regular store and look around and feel what I am getting. It brings the thrill of the holidays to me to a whole new level :) This year I did a lot of online shopping for my fiance though. I just happened to find a lot of items cheaper and items I wouldn't even be able to find in a store. I shipped through the states and saved even more. Going through a few funerals and getting over the flu also so I have a lot of shopping left to do. Normally I wrap starting with a gift everyday from December 1st but I haven't even done that. So off to the store I go with the large crowds and last minute shoppers. But I am excited about it! (Everything except the parking).
-
I have found that for the last 2 years I have done just about all my shopping online. I love the convenience and being able to get some deals and things I wouldn't find in the store. I love online shopping and actually would do more if I could afford more.
-
I forgot to mention that one thing I like to do is order what I want online from stores in my area. Then, I walk to the customer service desk and pick it up. This way, I don't have to hunt all over the store to see if they have it only to find out that they're out of stock. I think many big stores offer that option- order it online, pick it up in person.
-
This year I only ordered one gift card online because I got it free with points from another site I belong to. I did all my shopping at the stores this year and it wasn't so bad
-
i do both but mostly at the stores it is just easier then to have to worry about if your order from online will get to where it should
Most of our orders usually get to us okay and intact. There has been an occasion where the company mistyped the address, but if an order is unusually late, a phone call or email inquiry will straighten that up.
We like to order online and have things sent to us. I hate crowds and hate going out in cold weather in the winter.
Also, I like keeping money in paypal and order on sites that accept pay pal. I found out recently that JCPenney now accepts pay pal. I buy alot from them and am thrilled that they now accept pay pal.
-
Not really I do not trust it
-
I love shopping online I like waiting for my items to come UPS and FED-X, I did my Christmas shopping this time online.
You can get great sales too.
-
This online shopping is very new to me.... BUT, I've recently discovered that I can order the printing of my photographs online and they are then delivered about 3 days later. This is a first for me and now I'm hooked! (Did I mention that I'm a photo-holic!!) :confused1:
-
A little bit of both but starting to shop more online these days. It is just so easy!
-
I'm a combination girl. I use pricegrabber.com and try and get the most out of deals online. But in the event I am already going to be out and about than I'll just grab the item if the price is right. I do all my grocery shopping live though. There aren't any delivery services in my area. Which is ok cause there is a mini country store within walking distance and in the event I forget something while I"m out...99% of the time they have it there.
-
I do both. Mainly in store but I do some online shopping as well.
-
I did almost all my shopping on line. I picked up a few last minute things in the stores.
-
I never shop in stores if I can avoid it. That isn't just around the holidays - I order off of Amazon whenever I can instead of going to the store. It's a lot easier.
-
I am mostly an online shopper. It's just easier to buy most things online and then it magically shows up on the front porch a few days later. The only thing I have to buy in a store is clothes because I am one of those people who can't buy a size, everything has to be tried on to be sure it fits. Gifts for other people are easy online though. Happy after Christmas shopping to everyone. Get out there and use those gift cards lol :D
-
I prefer to shop online as I hate crowds, noise and the hustle and bustle of shopping during the christmas season, especially some drivers attitudes when trying to park.
