Title: Daily searches
Post by: MarkyBear8656 on December 06, 2012, 07:22:07 am
For some reason I have stopped getting credit for my daily searches. It keeps saying invalid search but when I click on it I cannot find any rules that I am breaking. Please help. Thanks

I had that same problem too. Sometimes you have to wait at least a couple of minutes to valid searches to show up. Keep searching on things like financial services as a legitimate search to become valid. You don't want to do it too quickly or your search counter will stop and will have to wait a few weeks before the counter resets to zero before you can search again and be credited for valid searches. I noticed this when I first used it.

Make sure you don't do it too quickly and actually open pages for the the searches you complete.  I do this and have no troubles whatsoever.

The previous posters are exactly correct.  The only other thing not mentioned that I have noticed also is that if you search the same thing more than once it usually may not credit.  For example, if I use my toolbar to log onto Facebook, then do a few more searches then log back onto Facebook again it doesn't count the second search.

I have had trouble with this in the past as well as some applications lock up my computer and I have to shut it down and restart. If I had a search going on, it takes it as a new search and then knocks me out for the rest of the month. I used to enjoy it and did well with it, but because it has become so sensitive and is one of the apps that locks me up, I just don't bother with it anymore. It is a shame because it was helpful for things that I was truly searching for, let alone for the few extra pennies here and there.
