Andy Williams (REALLY missed him over the holidays)
Dave Brubeck
Mr. Food (always liked that guy, aka as Art Ginsburg)
It's been a tough year, especially in the acting and music worlds.

I will also miss Larry Hagman. I've been watching that guy since I was a kid. He was in a movie years ago with Bill Cosby, Raquel Welch, and Harvey Keitel called "Mother, Jugs, and Speed" that was hilarious! Sorry to see him go. :'(

I think Whitney Houston was the biggest name that passed this year. I don't think there was anyone I was ultra attached to, although it always makes me a little sad to hear of a passing.
-
I have to say Whitney Houston. I grew up with her music and so many others that were in that era. Got her greatest hits extended cut for Christmas as a gift. It was from my mom. I used to dance and sing to her albums when my mom would play them when I was young so she means a lot to us both. I played it the other day and was smiling at how easy her songs made me just start to dance. What a voice, what a woman and what a loss. She went through a lot of trauma in her life and she beat the odds many times. It was just her turn to go. For us who she impacted we are left with her songs and great memories of her. A loss, yes, but she definitively was put on this earth for a reason and we were blessed with the fact that she was!

Davy Jones was my heart throb when I was 8. I probably won't miss him too much because I still see him when I watch "THE MONKEES" on Saturdays.

I forgot she dies this year too, she always made me laugh, with her wild hair, wild clothes and that crazy laugh!
-
I will miss *bleep* Clark. The New Year's Eve celebration was not the same without him. He was an American icon and he will surely be missed by a lot of people all of the world.
-
Sad we can't write in the first name of Mr. Clark, the American Bandstand legend! What a great part of history and so saddened by his passing...
Michael Clarke Duncan was also very sad because I feel that in a lot of ways, his career was just beginning. Then it came to an abrupt end.
-
jack klugman. always loved him on the odd couple
-
Andy Williams. Big fan. He was always a class act. I saw him once live in a show, but this was past his prime, but he still knew how to carry himself.
-
Whitney Houston is the first name that comes to mind when I think of deaths in 2012. I can't say that I was that much of a fan by the time that I died, but I was a fan of the Bodyguard era Whitney Houston.
-
I had two important people in my life that I knew die of breast cancer this year. I think more about people that were close to me and that personally leave a dent in my life more. Although the people that we grew up watching on tv are also sadly missed. I will say Larry Hagman, Mr. Clark(no it definitely was not the same), whitney houston(sad effect on what kind of life that stuff causes and death).
-
Michael Clark Duncan. Even though they cancled his show before he died, I had hoped they'd bring it back on another station.
-
whitney houston,,and the big guy from green mile :angel12:

I had completely forgotten about Jonathan Frid. I used to watch Dark Shadows after school when I was a teenager. I could only catch it when school let out early or we were on vacation because I rode the bus. I loved Barnabus Collins! I think he is responsible for the new Twilight Craze. Such a likeable vampire. But Larry Hagman will be missed the most by me because he was just starting up the Dallas series. I am from Big D so everyone knows about Southfork and drives people visiting past it.

Yes I will miss Michael Clarke Duncan he was very cool
-
All the famous who died in 2012 Rest in Peace.

The acting world and the music world took it hard in 2012. I would also add: Dave Brubeck, Charles Durning, Jerry Nelson (Seseme Street puppetter; he "did" the Count), William Windom, Kitty Wells, Ernest Borgnine, Nora Ephron, Robin Gibb--and Chuck Brown. Used to play "Bustin' Loose" on the radio when I worked on the air, and have that on my mp3 now.
