Title: Lake Superior State University 2013 List of Banished Words

Here is the Lake Superior State University 2013 List of Banished Words:

FISCAL CLIFF, KICK THE CAN DOWN THE ROAD, DOUBLE DOWN, JOB CREATORS/CREATION, PASSION/PASSIONATE, YOLO, SPOILER ALERT, BUCKET LIST, TRENDING, SUPERFOOD, BONELESS WINGS, GURU.

What do you think about the list? Do you have words or phrases to add?

I think would add, "My bad." People sound like a 3-year old using this.

Grandbabies should have been chucked a long time ago. It's grandchildren, grandsons, or granddaughters.

IMHO.

I don't like the word Drama, or the saying it is what it is.

CREEPY.

there are many, many more accurate and descriptive words
for things you find strange, odd, abnormal, or even interesting.

i know people who say this word constantly. it drives me nuts.
and it drives me even MORE nuts when it rubs off on me!  :BangHead:

and i agree with "it is what it is."   ...i mean, what the? gah.
