Title: What's the weather like??

Post by: carters_ma on January 25, 2013, 07:51:03 pm: Here in mason county west virginia its horrible! Alot of snow and the roads are so slick. And for some reason the salt trucks Didnt get out until the roads had been covered for awhile. i had my sons 3rd bday party today and Im moving! >:(

Post by: dauna on January 27, 2013, 06:46:47 pm: Fairly nice today, but at 4 o'clock Friday morning icy rain began to fall, and by 7 a.m. we were officially iced in. We're at the top of a mile=long drive that goes straight up a hill, so--I didn't go anywhere that day. By 12:30 the next afternoon temps were in the uppter 40's and the ice from the trees was melting rapidly. It sounded just like rain falling.

What was really crazy was the heat wave we had last week. Eighty degrees? Really? In the middle of January in the northern hemisphere? I can't keep up anymore, lol.

It was almost 70 today in the DC area...awesome :thumbsup: same tomorrow but with rain...but at least no snow :)

Not a good day for this city :sad1:, hopefully, things will clear up by 1:00 p.m. today. The weather channels have taken over all the main TV stations, thus, concern is here. I remember when I looked outside at around 10 a.m. the sky looked like it was night outside-even though it was day time, very scary :o! Things probably want get any better though because we have a 100% probability of rain today, hurry up weather and be better tomorrow :)!

temperature is now at 30 degrees and windy and it is only going to be at 18 degrees here in Warsaw, IN. it would be cool to visit Africa right about now, as it
is not always guaranteed to be warm in Florida or Texas.
