Title: do you have a lot of friends

Nope, I am a very friendly person but it takes a lot for me to let people into the Friend area of my life. I currently have 1 good friend that I can actually trust and consider more then a friend.

But alas i have lost a few of them and will miss them. 2 really close girlfriends that i can and do talk about everything. As they do too me. Sorta of like what happens in vegas stays in vegas . I can loosely use the term of friend and say I have a lot, but if referring to close friends I can wholeheartedly trust and count on I have only a few. I tend to enjoy a lot of time on my own, so getting a lot more friends is not something I am looking forward to.

I guess the only friends I have are 2 cats that my husband fell in love with & took them in.

Plus I was about to become President of our Union.. Then Boom.. was involved in a accident that took us both out of the work force.. Well went from LOTS of friends to 3 die hard's from work.. Have 2 friends outside the work world. So have a total of 5 friends who know and we know if we needed them, they'd be there, as they know the same about us. Hope I did not ramble on too much there..

I don't think I often qualify as a good friend because I never seem to know just what to do for someone in need. Always wish I could do more.
But, I would say that I have a dozen or so good friends.

I don't think there are many people out there made out of true friend stuff so if you find one or two I think you are doing good.

Some of them already back to there countries. However, I had two of them still in here, and we are the best ever friends. Almost 5 years since I live here.

Work friends, relative friends, my childrens friends, etc. What makes it hard is when there is an occasion, like my daughters wedding, when all groups are together. I have a hard time sharing my time with all.

We talk almost every day and I see her regularly. My other friend lives out of state and the other friend has disability which affects their speech so our conversations don't last long and aren't intimate. I guess it's not easy to be friends with a lot of people at least it never was for me. :dontknow:

Most of my good friends died early! Remember heart problems rank number two (list change, but still high) on the cause of death for many. Lower your weigh, eat better, exercise and or walk a little.
