Title: where and when did you graduate from high school?
Post by: march1971 on February 12, 2013, 07:37:20 pm: I graduated from East Noble High School in 1991. East Noble is based in Kendallville, IN. due to changes in 2009, the elementary school in LaOtto had to close, and Avilla School, Rome City School, and 3 Elementary Schools in Kendallville went K-6, and Kendallville Middle School became East Noble Middle School.

I graduated High School in 1975 from Lake View-Auburn High School in Lake View, IA.

*Fun Fact* I was a starting guard on the 1975 Girls Basketball Team that won the Iowa Girls Basketball State Championship. 51-50 in Triple Overtime! (This was back BEFORE the state was divided into classes! So yes!!! we were THE STATE CHAMPIONS!)

I got my GED then went on to collage and got an Associates Degree majoring in Accounting. I've been doing accounting/bookkeeping work for twenty years now. I did get a degree in Medical Coding but couldn't find any at home jobs for that. I like doing bookkeeping and I know my boss is happy with my work.

Post by: vickysue on February 14, 2013, 03:26:34 pm: I gradurated in 1961 Roy, N.M. Back then we didn't have gym for girls or sports. Had to wear dresses or skirts for school. The only time we were allowed to wear slacks or jeans was in the winter under our dresses or skirts. Oh year and wore penny loafers with socks. No shorts of course or tight blouses. Didn't hurt us a bit. I think the schools ought to go back to strict dress codes.

Post by: pstovall on February 14, 2013, 03:41:49 pm: I'm more from Vickysue's era. I graduated from Isaac Litton High School in Nashville, TN, in 1964. I, too, never wore a pair of pants to school. But our sweaters and skirts were fun!! My high school has been torn down, but they saved the gym, and it is used for community events. Next year will be my 50th class reunion, and we are planning to have it in our old gym, a recreation of our senior prom. Even though most of us don't look the same, we still have a lot of the same feelings and friendships that we had 50 years ago.

Post by: blondie71 on February 25, 2013, 12:30:21 pm: I granduated from Arroyo Grande High in 1990 California and than went on to trade school in Santa Maria California, I graduated from there in 1991 before my son was born. Later in life I went to the University of Pheonix and graduated in 2008 with an associates degree in Accounting and I did this online but the physical school is in Missouri and the main campus is in Arizonia.
