I'm thinking of taking classes. I want to do it at home, but I think I'll eventually get lazy- being distracted by tv and other things.Does anyone take online classes and how did it work?
-
My classes are online except I have to take tests on campus. I'm self motivated enough to be able to keep up with it. If you think you'll be easily distracted it's probably best to take on campus classes or wait until you're more dedicated

I have been taking online classes since June 2009 and it is now March 2013. I am majoring in Accounting and minoring in Information Systems and I have 6 courses left to go. I love it. You meet so many interesting and nice people. I would not have traded my online experience for anything in the world.

You are your best judge. I know It's hard for me to self-motivate me for things that do not naturally interest me. Some subjects might interest me to the point that it would be easy for me to self-motivate me and go at it nicely, but some other subjects would be so hard, and I'll get easily distracted with anything and everything. Therefore, I know campus will keep me better motivated in all subjects, interesting or not, than online classes. You should do some self-evaluation, and conclude based on what you feel will be best according to how you think you will do in either situation.

I had to do it on campus because I loose interest otherwise!

I have done both. Online works for me. I am disciplined so it works really well for me.
