Which do you prefer.
-
On a daily basis I wear my contact lenses. If I am having a lazy day around the house, I will wear my glasses.
-
I use to wear contacts, now that I am older I just wear glasses.
-
I always wore contacts, I had the "throw a way" ones, you wore them a day and tossed them. They were so comfortable, but now that I'm older I just wear my glasses.
-
I prefer glasses to contacts. I wear glasses myself. I have been wearing glasses since I was 13 years old.
-
I use reading glasses. I have tried contacts but I can't stand them and don't really need them all the time anyway...just for reading.
-
I prefer contacts because you can get color contacts, which make your eye color look different. I love contacts because you can see everything very clearly. The only problem I have with my contacts is that it makes my eyes feel dry.
-
i prefer my glasses over contacts --i cant stand to touch my eyes so glasses work much better for me --i really only need them for reading anyways!!

Glasses

I wear glasses but my eyesight is such when I am on the computer or reading I need to take them off. The only time I need them now is when I am driving.
-
I have glasses and was planning contacts but after seeing ur responses here I need to think again

Which do you prefer.
I prefer and think glasses look better
-
I have to go with glasses because I have a hard time putting eye drops in my eyes much less anything else. Went to an eyeglass place several years ago and I couldn't even let someone else put them in. Got one in and had to tell her forget it. But glasses are a pain too so :dontknow:
-
Glasses. Contacts are too much of a hassle and easy to loose if you drop them. Besides, I've always been concerned about them falling inside my eye socket.
-
I wore glasses when I was young but now I only wear contacts. Glasses bother me I dont like to wear them for a long time just because i dont like how they feel on my face. However I do see more clear with my glasses. And contacts are kind of a pain to constantly put in and take out and keep clean. I think its more about looks and what look you want. Some glasses are really stylish and make you look a certain way. While some may not like the look of glasses so they wear contacts. I want to get laser eye surgery like my dad and grandma idealy but im too scared. ::)
-
Tha depends on what I'm doing. If I go to a concert, or go to the Mall, or otherplace where I need to look around and see stuff I will wear contacts. If I'm kicked back at home, I will take be in glasses most likely, especially later in the day.

I don't prefer either but I would rather have contacts. I have just resently started wearing glasses and I barely put them on because they bug me so much.
-
I currently wear glasses and I prefer them over contacts for several reasons:
1.) Contacts take a bit longer to put in than an take out then it is to put on glasses and take off glasses.
2.) I had an experience when I was young and witnessed a contact wearer having an emergency where one of his contacts manged to get lodged in the side of his eye.
He was experiencing extreme pain and it was an emergency since he was taken before me.
3.) Glasses protect your eyes from contaminants getting in.
4.) My eyes are extremely sensitive to irritants and burn and sting easily.
I can probably think of some more, but I think these are the main reasons.

I wear glasses but I wish I could wear contacts, but I was told my eyes were to bad for that. Maybe I need to see a different eye doctor?
-
i have tried contacts and with my astigmatism there are more of a bother.so i stick to my glasses..i only need them when i read or knit

I prefer glasses. As an Optician, I have seen so many issues caused by people over wearing contacts, that I don't think I'll ever wear them full time. I have worn them - but never for very long. I have allergies, and I have tried every brand out there since I get them for free. None of them are comfortable for more than a few hours.
I also see contact lens related infections several times a week. They are just not as healthy for your eyes as glasses.
If you do wear contacts, Please - PLEASE listen to your doctor on use and care. Don't put them in your mouth or use fresh water on soft lenses (the saline is what keeps a contact the right size and shape - not to mention bacteria in your mouth), don't stretch them out and wear them twice as long as you are supposed to, give your eyes a break and wear your glasses at least a few hours every night - or a whole day once a week if you sleep in them, use the same cleaning solution on them from start to finish- different solutions can cause a chemical reaction within the lens, and always wash your hands before handling them.
These few things are the biggest reasons I have people come in for urgent care appointments, and then they get mad at US when we tell them they can no longer wear contacts because they have damaged their cornea.

I would prefer glasses over contacts.
-
I've never worn contacts only glasses. I do like glasses because they are easy to maintain and take off when needed.
-
I use both contacts and glasses. If I'm home, I don't usually bother with contacts though. Glasses are always more comfortable.
-
I prefer glasses over contacts, I just can't gatter up enough nerves to put them in to even try to see if I would like them.
-
i dont think i could get contacs in so i wear glasses,,i dont like glasses though :bunny:
-
I love my contacts and hate glasses. I like being able to see clearly in my peripheral vision, especially while driving.
-
I wear only glasses. With my allergies contacts just don't cut it.Tried once and that was enough. I wear byfoicals and have since i was 14. Am near sighted in one eye and far sighted in the other. At least no one wants to borrow my glasses when we go somewhere.
-
Glasses, I once tried contacts and I did not like the way they felt on my eye's.
-
I guess if I had to wear glasses young I would of tried contacts but thank goodness I didn't but in my old age I need to wear reading glasses and it never fails I always drop and break them so I am glad for the dollar store :)
-
Which do you prefer.
i wear glasses because its to put on no need to sanitize before putting it on.
-
I have had to wear glasses since the 3rd grade, I wore contacts for a year or 2, but now I am back to wearing glasses since I like them better
-
i have to do glasses freaks me out to put things in my eyes :bunny:
-
I like the way I look in contacts, but they tend to hurt my eyes and fall out a lot so I prefer glasses.
-
I just wear my glasses

Contacts. My eyes used to be very bad before surgery, so I had coke bottle bottom-type of lenses. Making the switch to contacts was great. Fortunately, I don't have to have either one now.
-
I prefer glasses, because I wouldn't know how to contacts in and plus they could come out.
-
Don't know haven't ever worn either one. Don't know about inserting contacts but I'm sure they would be better in a couple of different ways over glasses. I don't know can't afford to go to the eye doctor anyway.
-
Which do you prefer.
Well, let's see I've worn contact lenses for a long time until I became allergic to the composite nature of the lenses!! That's when I was resolved to wearing glasses. As far as preference, I would say contact lenses are best for a number of reasons, first because I think you get better visual acuity and of course, you don't have to worry about your glasses fogging or breaking!!!!!

I cant put in contacts so I wear glasses :bunny:
