I put Thor highest among all others. At least he doesn't dress his disciples in dresses and force them into celibacy (good thing little boys don't count, right?).

A VERY TRUE STATEMENT, I TRULY BELIEVE IN A HIGHER POWER AND THE STATEMENT OF PUTTING GOD FIRST. THERE HAVE BEEN PLENTY OF TIMES WHEN THE WEIGHT ON MY SHOULDERS WAS SO HEAVY THAT I DIDNT THINK THAT I COULD TAKE IT ANY MORE BUT WITH THE PRAYING, AND HAVING FAITH, I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PULLED FROM MY LOWEST POINTS IN LIFE

I totally agree! I don't know how people get by or love, etc. without God in their lives. I guess He is there just waiting for you to accept His free Gift of His son Jesus Christ.

God always comes first in my life him and my son always do. If it wasnt for god, we wouldnt have food for our stomachs, we wouldnt be able to dress ourselves or go to work in the mornings.

Actually, if it wasn't for farmers, factory workers, and car manufactures (you can also think science) we wouldn't be able to do these things. Why are these easily explainable, everyday things such a miracle? If you make everything a miracle, whats the point in even pointing that out? The idea of the word would be so diluted it wouldn't even have meaning.
Also, I find it rather insulting to think that all the hard work these people did (Throughout all of history.) to get you these modern day conveniences. Yet, their efforts are to attributed to an invisible sky lord. How about we praise something we know exist, we have real evidence for, and we actually talk to, and those that we actually rely on: People.
This is a huge qualm I have with religion, and is probably the reason I dislike it so much. It takes out the humanity of people, replaces it with doctrine written 100's of years before their birth, and makes them put god above all else (including others). The reason I am an Atheist is because I'm a humanitarian above all else. Religion may cause people to do good, but more than likely they where going to do god anyway. Religion simply takes credit for other peoples charity to try and make up for its own wrong doings. Although Christians in general are good people (Being as most people in general are good people.), they still hold the belief that a supreme being, which they have no proof to exit, is more important than those around them that do exist.

Don't you ave to agree Flackle that SOME not all people who claim there is no God will ask for his forgiveness when they are facing death? We are all able to believe, or not believe, but I do know there is a God and I know He loves us all, even you!

Those people who do are not actually atheists. They're just in-the-closet theists. Praying to specific gods when you're about to die proves one cannot uphold the skepticism of atheism. It's sort of cowardly, though I do not hold any major disrespect towards them due to the fact that...well...they're about to die.
And you don't know there is a god if you cannot prove it to us. Saying such things is arrogant.

In this country we have the freedom to believe or not. If you don't believe in God that is your choice and I won't fault you for it; however don't fault s who believe. No I cannot see God, but I can see all the things he has created, (even you),

Yes, God comes first in my life - then my family and friends, church, work, activities, etc. :)
