Title: MobileXpression?
Post by: Trishaduff on May 16, 2009, 04:04:29 pm
I was tempted to try this - I admit, based on the higher-than-average potential credit -  but there's a line in the toc about how they may change your phone settings, and the whole thing creeps me a bit... has anyone tried this? Did it mess up your phone? My phone is new & I'd hate to have big fat regrets.... Thanks!

Maybe I have to wait for it to be reviewed? But it does say instant credit!

I read someone elses post in here whose phone bill was $188....so, make sure you read the fine print. Other wise it it becomes your mistake

yah, i read in their terms about all the texts and how it could add up - i have unlimited, but what bothered me most was that they can change your phone settings. i mean - what does that mean? I'm new to the smartphone world, so i'm letting this one pass.
thanks much for the responses!

Anyone would be stupid to pass this offer up if they have a smartphone. After you have it on your phone for 6 months, you will get a $30 check in the mail.

No, but I have heard about this happening to several people who have signed up for this. I don't have a smartphone sadly...

well I guess i'll be stupid, b/c there are many offers that don't credit, and i won't chance messing up my phone or getting a huge bill for the "maybe" of $10.  I don't believe everything i hear.  I'll try products that i'm interested in, instead.

Does it add a charge to your monthly phone bill for doing this offer or how exactly does that work?

look at the terms of service on the offer - if you pay-per-text, it will add up on your bill.  If you have unlimited txt, it shouldn't charge your bill.
after all my angst, i was curious to see if my phone was compatible. Joke's on me!! it doesn't work with iPhone 3G

what a hoot... :P
