Step #1 : serve it up right ,thats knowing how many calories and carbs you should eat .
Watch serving sizes and it may and will be easier to lose weight.
Positive weight loss tip I'm doing myself ,truly works for me . ;D ;D ;D

That's so true most people have no idea how many calories they are consuming. I use a calorie counter program on my phone. It breaks every thing down and tells me my RDI for each category. Works great.
