Title: Dancing with stars

Is anyone watching dancing with the stars?  This I the first time I saw it in a few years, not really a fan but thought I would give it another try.

I'm still a loyal watcher of the show, mostly because I'm a huge fan of ballroom, and while I cannot dance it during my rehab...at least I can watch it.  :D

I like that they added contemporary and jazz styles to mix it up a bit.  I'm also a huge fan of "So You Think You Can Dance" and a lot of alums have been pros on the show (including Lindsay and Whitney, new this season).  Love all the different dance styles on that show, so it's nice seeing the influence expanding the DWTS dance list.

As long as the show keeps their focus on the dance and performance, it think it'll be on for a while...as long as dance is your "thing".  That's why I don't watch American Idol or The Voice...singing just isn't my "thing".

I still watch it, but they need to put some more black woman on the show. :peace:

I enjoy it, sometimes it comes on at the wrong time for me to watch it. Used to do ballroom dancing in my younger years. Miss it but hubby doen't dance so we don't go now. Tried to get him to take some lessons, but you know men. Give them a few drinks and they can do anything.

Don't really watch it myself but my mom loves it.  Which is fine.  I'm glad she likes it so I don't have to.

I watch the show but have not tune in to the new season just yet, maybe I will catch it or I might not

I love the show!  One of my favorites!!  I pick Kellie Pickler to win with Derrek!  I stopped watching American Idol the night she was eliminated; I, too, am from a small town very close to the one she was raised in NC....I just knew she would go far! :bootyshake:

My family also used to watch this religiously, but not so much anymore, I wonder if the quality of dancers have gone down.  :dontknow:

I use to watch it more than I do now.  I still watch it on ocassion.  My daughter is a huge fan of the show.  She says that this year it will be Kellie and Derek to win.  Derek is the pro that she really likes.  I do think that over the years the "stars" appeal has went down some for me.
