I stick with at&t no matter how many times they screw me out of my money ???

i have been with sprint for about 15 years. they are the only company that gives flat rate absolutely free unlimited data, text, talk plans. Other companies slow the speed after you use a certain amount, but not sprint. i have had good and bad customer service interactions through the years. sort of hit and miss on that.

I would agree, Sprint is the way to go...they suck at times and are good at times, but they have the best plan for the price.

I am with at&t and I really regret it, my contract is over in november, their quality is very low but prices are high, so I am waiting to switch to either verizon or boost, I am not sure if Alaska has ether companies

I replied alrleady but thought i would add that my husband has t-mobile (5 years now?) and HATES it. their phones are really cheap and break a lot and they dont stand behing the warranties very well. the customer service is always a hassle too.

We use Verizon Wireless because we had a bad experience with AT&T a while back.

Why would he keep it for 5 years if he hates it?
T-Mobile does NOT have their own phones, they use the exact same ones all the other companies use.
I'm afraid I can't give much credit to this post as being of any value.
I happen to use the T-Mobile network with another company and the service is fine.

That is a tough question. I think Verizon is the best cell phone company. Verizon has the largest network.

They also have some of the highest rates, which is why I switched to one that pays me.
90% of my life is spent within 25 miles of my home, so why should I care if my cellphone will work in the rest of the country?

It all depends on what you are looking for. Do you want a contract or no contract? If you want a contract then do you want a smartphone or a basic phone? If basic then any carrier but if you want a smartphone then I'd say Sprint or T Mobile cause they are the only ones with unlimited data. If you want no contract then that's up to you also but I think you want boost right.

I also think it depends on where you live. Where I live, Verizon has the best reception; Verizon had bought the previous providers in the area and so were able to add those towers to their network. I have a friend that lives a few minutes out of town. When her brother came to visit, his iPhone (through AT&T) could only get reception if he stood in one area of her yard, and even then it was hit or miss to get 1 bar. Because of this, very few of the people I know that live here has AT&T. Sprint is also hit or miss, but surprisingly they tend to get better reception than AT&T, so there are a few people that have Sprint.

I do not know what is best as all of them have their own ups and downs at times, so I switched to tracfone. I don't have to pay any monthly bills or any surprises. You are in total control of how many air time/minutes you want to add to it and when your service days are coming to an end, then you just pay how many minutes you want to add. Nice and simple!

My husband uses Straight Talk. He pays $30 for 1,000 minutes through Wal-Mart. I use Virgin Mobile (Assurance Wireless), since I use a government phone (better known as an Obama phone). I plan to upgrade to a better phone because I get 250 minutes and 250 texts. Anything over that costs me between $10 and $20.
There are lots of companies out there. I want to check out the new company in town. They offer phones with no contract and no credit check. :o

In my opinion, Samsung is the second best cell phone company, after Verizon. Verizon Wireless has the best signal.
-
@AreletiaG - I'd say Virgin Mobile USA & Verizon. Verizon has the best coverage - no brainer but since the coverage is wonderful, the data limits are a joke which is why I say Virgin Mobile USA. Since you said Boost, it's pretty much the same exact thing since Virgin & Boost run on Sprint.

Actually in a lot of rural areas Verizon doesn't have the best coverage. They're also really bad about replacing infrastructure damaged in areas where there are tornadoes, floods, etc. if it's not a high population density area. AT&T is much better where I am. Very few dropped calls and I can even get 4G! Which wasn't available to me with with Verizon, and I paid quite a bit more with them for less service.
But AT&T isn't good in some places, I hear. I think every company has areas where they're good and areas where they're not. :dontknow:

A lot of the answer really depends on where you live. I had Verizon for awhile, they had good coverage, etc., but in my case at least, I received poor customer service and our service was expensive. I also had Sprint for quite awhile. I almost always had good coverage and good service from them, but they made several billing errors after I cancelled our service and it took me about 10 phone calls to finally get them to admit their mistake.
-
I like Tracfone. Very dependable and not as expensive. I only have a basic phone but it works fine for me.

I THINK THE BEST CELL PHONE COMPANY IS T-Mobile. I've BEEN WITH T-Mobile FOR SOME TIME; NO COMPLAINTS. VERY GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE.
