I am talking about the Miami Heat, I believe that they are on their way to winning the NBA championship for the second year in a row. WHO CAN BEAT THE HEAT?

The Bulls whooped on them pretty good in Game 1.
Get out of the East first. The Knicks/Pacers looks like a decent match-up. Indy might give them (the Heat) some competition. (Indy won season series 2-1)
Game 2 was lopsided, but the Bulls lost Noah and watched the Heat shoot 60% from the field. They didn't have a prayer.
The series goes back to Chicago.
I think Miami has some competition in the West too. The Spurs/Warriors and Thunder are looming.
Don't count your chickens before they hatch. :P

I love the Bulls to beat them. Was thrilled they won game 1....game 2 was sad. Crossing fingers for game 3.

I'd be happy if ANYONE beats the Heat. ;D

I turn on the air conditioning system, works just dandy for me!! Beats da heat big time!! ;D

I like upsets, so I would like to see the Bulls beat the heat and I would like to see a team that has never a won a championship so it would be nice to see the Pacers or Grizzlies win it all too. However I don't see anyone beating the Heat. With all the injury problems and Lebron playing at such a high level with the big 3 leading his team I don't see anyone getting past them. However I'm looking forward to the finals and hopefully it'll go a full seven games.
I'd prefer to see the NBA's coverage return to NBC though. I'm not big on ABC's coverage and others have agreed with me on this. Also the NBA's choice not to air as many games as in the past (Since I don't have cable) on regular tv (They usually don't air any Conference finals games at all preferring to go to TNT for that coverage. Let's see how they do this year. ) doesn't sit well with me as does their choice not to broadcast the all star game on regular network programming. I'm still hoping for a great competitive finals though and looking forward to the playoff games over the weekend. (Knicks@Pacers Saturday on 8:00pm & Spurs@Warriors on Sunday 3:30 pm both on ABC)

This years NBA playoffs are going to be tough, but there is no way I can see the Bulls beating the Heat. Now I can See Golden State beating San Antonio, Memphis beating OKC and The Pacers knocking off the Knicks. But for the life of me I can not see the Bulls Beating The Defending Champions.

I agree, the Bulls are done, now if they had Rose (at 100%) then the series would probably go 7 games.
Here's how the Heat stack up against the rest of the remaining teams:
1-2 this season against the Pacers
1-3 against the Knicks
2-0 against the Spurs
1-1 against the Warriors
2-0 against the Thunder
The Heat might repeat, but it's not going to be easy, I can see the winner of the Pacers/Knicks giving the Heat a challenge...not to mention the team that comes out of the West.

Agree, I am a big Miami Heat fan

I'm a big Knicks fan and I think that if we can get past the Pacers we have a legitimate chance of beating the Heat.
-
The Pacers look pretty good against the Knicks. It might just be Miami against the Pacers. We'll see what happens.

the heat is on

-
yes i can beat the heat by staying in doors with the air condition.
-
i thought the western conf finals winner would take it this year, so i think the spurs will beat them 8)
-
The Miami Heat will play the Indiana Pacers tonight (6/1/13) for the Eastern conference Championship and the right to play the San Antonio Spurs. I have all the confidence in the Miami Heat to finish off the Indiana Pacers tonight.
-
well during the season i remembr hearing tht the pacers matched up good against the heat so i can understand them giving them a good series... also i think any team could beat any team on a given night idk about a series but even then possibly... i dont like when ppl act like the heat are unbeatable they didnt go undefeated in regular season... but id love for them to win a title i like it better with some competition

On Sunday the Miami Heat played basketball like they like to play, and they beat the San Antonio Spurs. Tuesday the series moves to San Antonio for 3 games. Miami definitely need to win 2 of the games so that they could put themselves in a position to win their second championship in a row.

The Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs will meet tonight (06/16/2013) for game 5 of the NBA Championship. I am hoping that Miami play like they played in game 4. Who can beat The HEAT?
-
For a minute, thought it was real heat... for that I need to move to a cooler state.. not sure about the sports aspect.... :peace:
-
Obviously the Spurs can, a couple of times... ;D

Game 7 of the NBA Finals and The Miami Heat is in pursuit of their second Championship in a row. I have to give the San Antonio Spurs credit for playing the Miami Heat all series, but they Should have put the Miami Heat away in game 6. The Miami Heat will take it to the San Antonio Spurs in game 7.
-
The Miami Heat has won the NBA Championship for 2013 and now I am wondering if anyone believe that they can win it in 2014.
