Are there any natural techniques that you can think of that I can do to have more energy? I am always very tried, which makes me lazy. I want to improve my life. I want to have more energy and do the things I need to do. Thanks for any future suggestions.

It might sound cliche but a healthy diet and a small amount of exercise can fix that. Eat more natural organic fruits n veggies, no processed foods, water, lay low on the sugar and white enriched flour. It's been proven that even 15minutes of exercise a day will improve your energy level. Now if you wanting an instant no work involved energy boost, buy some five hour energy. They don't have to much caffeine and the energy comes mostly from B vitamins.

Have you tried five hour energy? There are several items on the market having to do with an energy burst.

Regular exercise would help, I know it can be tough to motivate yourself when you're tired though.
Also, have you seen a doctor to make sure that there are no major health issues to make you this tired? You should do that before you do anything new involving exercise or your diet.

I too have trouble with needing more energy, but I do find if I force myself to just take a small brisk walk, I feel much better and the fresh air sort of revives you.

Thanks for all your great responds and help.

Thanks for the advise. I guess I should try eating more fruit and maybe sleep more. Actually I have tried the five hour energy drink, but it makes me sick.

Thanks. I have gone to the doctor and everything is fine.

I feel your pain. I am so unmotivated with just about everything.

Try some vitamin B-12. B-12 vitamins come in a variety of forms: Liquid, tablet or some other form.

Okay, been there. I gave myself permission to get all the sleep I need. I'm also getting all the processed foods out of my diet, reducing sugar and detoxing. Look for an organic detox tea (Wal-Mart even has one). I wouldn't take energy drinks myself, they're artificial. We're walking around in biological machines that require natural fuel. When you put the wrong fuel in a car it doesn't run right so why do we try to fuel our bodies with artificial additives? Dr Oz frequently addresses this problem. There's a lot of good information on his site and show. Just take it one step at a time. :peace:

If I were you, I'd stay away from the Energy Drinks (including 5 Hour Energy). As others have posted, B VITAMINS will give you the energy you're looking for. Try SUPER B COMPLEX. A GREAT brand is "NATURE MADE." There are NO PRESERVATIVES, NO COLORS, FLAVORS, YEAST, STARCH or GLUTEN in this product. When I feel the way you do, this is what I take and I can tell you it WORKS.

I know you said you'd been to the doctor, but did they check your iron. If you're even slightly anemic you'll feel like you can't get enough sleep.

When I'm faithful to my exercise program I always have energy to spare. Especially doing the aerobic stuff.
And the right amount of sleep - if I get much more or less than 6 hours I'm not as energetic.
Other routines that really make a difference for me: breakfast is a must - and plenty of water!

Having gone through radiation treatments earlier this year, I thought these energy supplements would help me get my mojo back, not the case, they only added to my suppression of appetite. A slow meticulous change in diet to a locally garden grown, nutrient rich meal base has restored a lot of my energy back.

I need more too. I am not going to take those energy drinks, though. I just don't believe they are safe for people with any health condition. Since I am in my 50s, I blame my tiredness on being over the hill. Not much I can do about the clock ticking off my time. I can do my best to eat right and get at least 8 hours of sleep. I try for that and do some walking around my acreage. Maintaining it is my exercise.
