They also offer bonus points for exploring all the Bing has to offer. I haven't found Google to be that much better in terms of search results, and I'd rather get the rewards than a perfect search every time.

Personally I like using google as a search engine because some searches are a little better and the layout is to my taste... Bad thing is that it tracks everything you search for... Bing is an alright search engine, especially with Bing rewards system where they pay you to search and stuff (something Google will probably will never do)

Google is the automatic search engine for my phone, though, and I don't mind it to look up facts when I'm on the go. However Bing does have a pretty good rewards system that keeps me coming back, and I love the homepage pictures and facts!

Even though google is the most popular, I like bing. Bing seems to give me better search results. I also like to compare results from Bing to Google. Yous get more choices that way. Google also seems like it is trying to get too much personal information from your computer. Who wants everyone to know all your personal stuff? NOt me.

None of them return any kind of complex search result containing ALL search terms anymore without modifying the original search "thinking" you meant to search for something else, or only bringing back top results with a fraction of your criteria because the algorithm "thinks" you really only wanted those terms. Most of the results I'm actually after are found on page 20-30 of the searches these days which makes them useless.

Google used to be awesome about a decade ago when it was an actual search engine. You could type in any strange combination of things and the top results would contain them all. Not any more...those days are long gone.

And with them adding their "recent" update preference and Google advertiser preferences to the search results, I can't get a decent, trusted result from them anymore.

Bing isn't any better with it's "social network" search gimick.

If anyone knows of a straight-up boolean search that actually returns results matching your all your criteria - I'd like to know about it.

I even tried that bing challenge or whatever it's called and it said that I chose bing 4 times outta 5 but I don't believe it. I used the normal bing before and I thought the search results were bland compared to google.

Using BING now because of the reward program - 30 searches per day and you have 5 accounts per household - $5 Amazon= 475 points - ez breezy!!!

I have MSN as my home page bc i have been a hotmail (now outlook) user for over ten years, so i use bing bc it is convenient. I also like bing because you earn points which i cash in for amazon gift cards. Prior to this rewards program, i actually preferred google and "google it" became part of my vocabulary. Even now when I use bing i might say "i'm googling it".

Within a few months I will switch over to another search engine which is supposedly much better than Google because it will filter out all the negative, violence, pornographic links from cyberspace. I have never used bing before. So I am unable to find out anything about it. But I am familiar with google and am very comfortable using it. So far every time I do the Human intelligence tasks, and it requires "bing" or "google", I always used google. If anyone has ever used "bing" please share some input as I don't really know anything about them.
