Post by: davidh121 on June 14, 2013, 11:41:12 pm: Pears are probably my favorite when they actually have flavor, but I have the habit of picking duds periodically (ones that seem to lack any taste). For consistency purposes I seem to hardly go wrong with apples and grapes, which I also like.

I like mangos too. I guess my favorite fruit would have to be Honeydew. I love all melons, but honeydew has a unique flavor when perfectly ripe. Tropical fruits are my favorites when it comes to fruit, but you can't replace the crunch of a good apple or the sweetness of a cherry. Apricot and peach are my favorite fried pies or turnovers. You can use fruit to make some great desserts and jams. I used to make Pear butter, but have no time for it lately. My neighbors have pear trees, but mine has just about died. NO pears! Enjoy the fruits of summer!

I love to use pineapple on a pizza it gives it a great flavor. If you haven't tried pineapple on a pizza you just don't know what your missing. :wave:

I don't really have a favorite. I do love them in certain times of the year. watermelons, mangoes, and pineapples sounds right just about now. You can sprinkle some li hing moy pounder on them and let it sit in the fridge for about 2 hours. Mmmmmm sounds delish!

I really don't have a favorite fruit. I love cantaloupe, watermelon, grapes, oranges, plums and pineapple the best.
