I have been to 17 states. I would like to visit all of the states eventually but I'm not sure that will happen since we live on a farm and don't get away much.
-
I think I am up to 15 or so
-
If you're counting those I've driven through, I have not been to 4: Alaska, Hawaii, Washington, and Oregon. Most of the states I went through during a Boy Scout trip from my home at the time in NY all the way to the Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico. For that trip, we actually spent an entire month: 1 week at the ranch itself and the rest of the time traveling around the country. We also made a huge circle driving out and back so that we could hit as many sites as possible.
-
I live in Virginia, so Maryland and DC are part of the deal, also visited New York City and Niagara Falls, New Jersey and Florida and Mirtle Beach, SC. Driven through the Carolinas and Georgia.
-
I only visited one, Florida, and it is where I live.
-
Probably 25 or 30. Some just driving through.
-
Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Penn, New Jersey, New York, Conn, Mass, New Hampshire, Maine, West Virginia, Ohio, Ill, Miss, Wis, California. I have not visited the Midwest or southwest yet! I guess that is a total of 20.

Well let Me start from the 50th state. That would be Hawaii, California, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas, Tennessee, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and Maryland. That would be 27 in all.

I think the only states I have NOT been too yet are: Hawaii, North Dakota, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Delaware. So I've been to 40 of the 50 so far.
Growing up, I was lucky that my dad took the family on a couple multi-week camping trips where one year we covered the whole Southwest US, and the next the whole Southeast US. We also took a trip to DC as a family and I went again on a school band trip which covered that area. Plus we had relatives in the Pennsylvania area so we got up there.
I took a trip out to the Northwest and got as far as Idaho, which I went to see a performance of the Canadian gold medal pairs team performing on an outdoor ice rink, so I toured the states from my home in the midwest out there and back. Traveled to upstate New York via Canada to go to a skating camp in Lake Placid.
Alaska was a cruise I took with a friend about 9 years ago. The cruise was cheaper than the plane ticket back - lol.
Hoping to make it to the upper New England states and east coast states soon as I have a sister who now lives in CT. I also hope to make it to Hawaii someday...maybe another cruise opportunity to save up for! ;D

The states I have lived in our Oregon, California, Indiana, New Mexico, but I've lived over 50 years in Oregon so I qualify for a state pioneer fishing license and hunting license.
I have visited (Washington, Idaho, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona, Indiana, Kansas, Missouri, Tennessee, and I don't have a visit anymore or not I can't remember anymore.

mine is 2 and a lot more to go.
-
I've only been to Vegas, Hawaii, and Tennessee. Planning on going to Denver next month and I'm planning to go to Florida one day.
-
In terms of the states that I have truly visited and not just rode through it was only Oklahoma, Illinois Ohio. I've been through Missouri and a few others on my way to Oklahoma by car, but I can't say I truly visited them.
-
I have visited Tennessee, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, Minnesota, and Florida (that was when I met my mother in-law for the first time). I had never heard of DeFuniak Springs, FL until then. My mother in-law is home in West Point now, but she is still in the nursing home.
