Thoughts To Ponder
1. Why do people never say "it's only a game" when they're winning?
2. If an ambulance is on its way to save someone, and it runs someone over, does it stop to help them?
3. Why is it called a funny bone, when if you hit it, it's not funny at all?
4. Do you yawn in your sleep?
5. If someone has their nose pierced, have a cold, and take thier nose ring out. Does snot come out of the piercing hole?
6. How come lemon washing up liquid contains real lemons, but lemon juice contains artificial flavorings.
7. Do you wake up or open your eyes first?
8. Did Noah have woodpeckers on the ark? If he did, where did he keep them?
9. How do you handcuff a one-armed man?
10. If there's a speed of sound and a speed of light is there a speed of smell?

9. You handcuff his forearm to his upper arm :D

8. If Noah did have any woodpeckers on the ark, hopefully he had them in a cage. That noise can tend to drive you insane after awhile.

2. If an ambulance is on its way to save someone, and it runs someone over, does it stop to help them?
My guess is they will stop, make a call, and another ambulance will be sent to that location, or to the location they were going to.
3. Why is it called a funny bone, when if you hit it, it's not funny at all?
Maybe it could be funny for other people.
6. How come lemon washing up liquid contains real lemons, but lemon juice contains artificial flavorings.
Maybe artificial flavoring would do nothing to help something not meant to be a beverage.
7. Do you wake up or open your eyes first?
There has been times I woke up, and kept my eyes closed.

1. Why do people never say "it's only a game" when they're winning?
Because they would not get there winnings
2. If an ambulance is on its way to save someone, and it runs someone over, does it stop to help them?
Probably would since it would be considered hit and run otherwise
7. Do you wake up or open your eyes first?
I am guessing they both could happen at the same time, your brain wakes up and you pen your eyes within seconds of each other. I know most weekends I wake up but definitely do not open my eyes.
8. Did Noah have woodpeckers on the ark? If he did, where did he keep them?
Hopefully in a cage, or they would have open holes on the ark.

1. I've actually heard this stated more by those winning more than those losing...typically when those losing start complaining to much.
2. I once witnessed an ambulance hit a car stopped at an intersection. I heard the siren and turned around (was walking up a hill), then saw the ambulance come to a corner to turn, only it was going too fast and hit the car that was stopped at the stop sign on the street it was about to turn onto. Needless to say, the ambulance turned off its siren. I didn't stick around as it looked like the driver was okay (fortunately). I'm guessing they had to call in another ambulance...and the police. The irony of the situation wasn't lost on me though.
3. I cannot confirm if the following story is true, but it's the most interesting explanation I've seen: http://www.fountainofgenius.com/2007/01/funny-bone.html
4. No idea.
7. Typically I wake up, then open my eyes. I often become conscious of being awake, feeling the sheets, stretch, then eventually open my eyes...resigning myself to the fact I need to get up. Even when I wake via my alarm, I'm aware of the alarm before opening my eyes.
10. I would say, in a way, yes - but it would be ever changing depending on wind conditions. ;D
-
7. At times I slowly wake up and I become aware that im awake, but I still want more sleep so I keep my eyes closed in an attempt
to fall back asleep.

6. How come lemon washing up liquid contains real lemons, but lemon juice contains artificial flavorings.
Oh my goodness :o :o :o :o :o You're completely right!!! :sad1: :sad1: :sad1:

These thoughts are worthy of contemplation. I'll get back to you.
-
This was good.....I like the one with Noah and woodpeckers.....
-
Ha! The speed of smell. ;D
-
OK, mission accomplished, I can honestly say that I have pondered each of these thoughts... some in more depth than others but all were duly considered.
-
Well, those sure are some "thoughts" to be pondered!!!!!
