>:( wow can you believe the nerve of some people. They get on their cell phone and talk in such a loud voice telling everyone around them all of what they are thinking feeling and been through. I don't want to hear it.. I'm at a doctors appointment and the waiting room was packed and there was a movie on this big screen and everyone is trying to pay attention to it and this one woman was talking in another language I was so annoyed and so were many of the other people waiting yet no one said a thing. This went on for about an hour now people are wispering and speaking amogst themselve saying things like I hope she shuts up and I can't here the move and why is this woman so rude...so finally I couldn't take it and as dramatic as this may sound I stood up and asked her really loud in a I'm not playing voice to please lower her voice..she stopped looked shocked and then continued as quite and in a normal voice I didn't think she had.. And to my surprise people clapped for me I was like "wow".

LOL.... good for you. I can't stand it either. Why people feel the need to have the cell phone attached to their head 24/7 is beyond me. When I am out it public my cell is turned off. People will leave their house and call people as if they will never hear from them again. Like it can't wait till get home or when you are in a private setting? I guess some people feel the need to be special and this is another way for them to gain attention. :dontknow:

some people just don't have manners like that.
not everyone is taught what's rude and what isn't, lol.
good for you, standing up like that.

Sometimes I don't think people realize how loud they are speaking when on their cell phones. Its possible they can't hear that well in the first place or just really rude and think others wants to listen to their inane conversations. :dontknow:

I live in NYC and sometimes I'll be on the subway, reading my book, when all the sudden I find myself sitting next to a couple of people carrying on the loudest conversation known to man. It's especially annoying in the morning, when most everyone is trying to snooze a little before getting to work. These people have to know how rude they're being, but I guess they just don't care.

NICE! sometimes you just have to do that

:BangHead:
There's someone outside my apartment, right now, screaming nonsensical blabberings...bothering the living crap out of me....Hey Frankie...did u try the cod?? lol

Maybe the people that you all are discussing are hard of hearing in public settings or they are too much of a busybody to care that they need to pipe down their tone! I applaud everyone who has had the cajones to stand up to someone trying to convey their conversations to others!

Good for you!! I hate it when people talk on the damn phone in public places, I understand emergency calls but just to shot the *bleep*. I will tell people how rude they are being. I told a lady at Wal-Mart, we were checking out and the lady in front of me was checking out and talking on her phone at the same time, she was not multi tasked I suppose as the checker was getting angry because the lady cared more about her phone call than paying. So I told her, "You know she is waiting for you to pay" Boy did she get off the phone fast and pay. The Wal-Mart checker told me thank you. I just dont see why people are rude to others like that. Like the world revolves around them because they got a phone call. LMAO

Yeah i give you props for not yelling at them lol, im the exact opposite ill either flip out n make sure they SHUT UP, or what i like doing even more is start talking to the people who are complaining as well VERY LOUDLY so the person on the phone can overhear what we're saying about them. Like i woulda been like "OH MY GOD CAN YOU BELIEVE HOW LOUD I CAN TALK ON THE PHONE? ITS AMAZING DONT YOU THINK, HEY DO YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT I DID LAST WEEK, WELL TO BAD IM GONNA TELL YOU ANYWAY" making the person on the phone feel like a total a$$ =D it usually does the trick and then some.

I hate it when people gossip and what not in a loud vopice. It's like, ugh, I don't want to hear you whine about your inane drama for the duration of this bus ride! :BangHead:

I hate it , Im a cashier and i think it is so rude when customers come to the line on the cell phone ! Plus I live in an apartment building where the doors stay locked and instead of ringing their doorbell they yell for the person to come open the door ...at all time of day and night I hate that!

I don't like loud talkers at all. I don't want to hear all their business. Plus I think its very rude.

I have a hard time with loud people....no concern for anyone else...
