What do you recommend to be the best exercise for loosing weight? would you say walking?

Keeping active in your free time can be one of the most important ways to lose or maintain weight loss. You can exercise all you want but if your lifestyle doesn't change ( watch TV for hours, lots of unhealthy snacks) then nothing will change. The best forms of exercise are fun and don't feel like exercise. I take Karate classes twice a week and go swimming once a week. I have also gotten in the habit of walking to the stores close by rather than driving. I garden and cook more often now in order to prepare healthier foods at home. I have never been able to keep up or enjoy a workout that consisted of running or repetitive weightlifting. I have lost 50lbs from eating healthier and being more active.

Walking is a great way to lose weight, but I think the best way is to push away from the table! I went to Weight Watchers and lost 40 pounds. In a way it was easy, but in another way it was hard, because I love to eat the "wrong" foods. I have ever craved a carrot or celery, but give me cake or candy and I'm happy.
I started eating better, but also started walking and sure enough the pounds came off, slow but sure. Good luck, I know it's not easy but you can do it! :thumbsup:

Walking is a good place to start. It gets you outside and into the sunshine, which is a mood lifter.

Yes, walking is very good for you and can help you lose weight. If you have trouble exercising do it in a swimming pool like I do. Exercise feels so much easier to do in the water. I love it. :heart:
