You don't. People are dumb! There's nothing wrong with showing a little frustration however it shouldn't excuse you from being civil.

People usually don't listen very well.  Sometimes I think the less you say, the better they listen.  I think there are too many distrations and so people are losing their attention span.

that bad when you tell a person how do a job and they still do it wrong  maybe they are slow learners

Sometimes you can actually tell when a person is not paying attention; he/she gets a little bit of a glazed look in the eyes.  If you can spot that look, stop and ask the "listener" to repeat the information back to you, which is always a good tactic anyway when giving instructions.

All I can say is that I agree, and it's frustrating!

It may not be right, but A DUH them back a few times when the opportunity is appropriate and let them get the feeling.  Or stop helping.  When they realize they need your advice they may be more open to it (or just that hard-headed!).

But, yes, I know, people can be frustrating.

Sometimes the one who is most frustrating to me is the man I have spent 11 years with already.  I feel he half-listens to me because he thinks he already knows what I am going to say in most situations, which is sometimes true, but not always.

Let's face it. Some of us are much more evolved than others. Very few people get my humor. Their loss, not mine.

I trained people on a regular basis in my last job and could not believe how many people choose not to listen or even pay attention. I learned to identify the more ignorant ones from the less ignorant ones by two factors; if they brought a pen and pad of paper to take notes and if they asked questions. Those were the keepers.

I am trying to figure this out.  If you mean that you are trying to train someone for a job and the person is not listening or making an effort, it is frustrating.  If you are a supervisor, working for a company, it will not bode well for you if you send that person on and they don't know how to do the job.  It will come back to you that you did not do your job.  As an older person, I can see so much difference in the job force these days from what it was when I started working.  So many people don't even care if they perform well.  I always thought if you were hired to do a job, no matter what, you should do it well.  You never know when it might well be a stepping stone to something better.

Its very frustrating dealing with people sometimes!  I hate it when I'm at a social gathering, talking with someone and they ask me a question but before I answer it, I see their attention is going somewhere else.  I never know if I need to answer them anyway or just walk away!  lol
