:dontknow:I think it is absolutley crazy, what do u think? I am the type of person that like to take naps but i am not a lazy person. I am in new york and it has been petty nice outside with plenty of things to go do. I have been sleeping for most of the day. Wen people call me i ignore them or wake up for 10 minuets then go back to bed. this has been for a few days now. I am convinced that i have a sleeping disoder or somthing cause it has gone way beyond what i am used to.

Do you sleep well during the night, are you cold often, unexplained weight gain, depressed/sad? Talk to your doctor! Lots of things can cause excessive day time sleepiness.

hmm, maybe its the heat? i get rather groggy
at random times when the weather changes, and
especially when its extremely hot or cold...
have you been eating differently or anything?
mmm, a nap sounds nice...

My cousin is always tired. I think she sleeps a lot. Do you sleep good at night? I think I sleep pretty good at night. I very rarely take naps or go to sleep during the day. I don't like how it makes me feel when I wake up unless I really need one. I sleep a lot when I am sick but that is about it. If it is not like you then maybe you are getting sick, or the heat like the other person said. I know in the summer I am more lazy and just in a different mood because of the heat.

I think you need to ask a "doctor" what he/she thinks about your problem.
I am convinced that i have a sleeping disoder or somthing cause it has gone way beyond what i am used to.
If you're convinced, then why ask?
Go to a doctor.

oh no. sleeping disordered last for much longer than a few days,, and a doctor wont do anything about it unless the condition has been going on for a few months. they cannot properly diagnose you until so. i would try something like tylenol pm (unless your allergic to benadryl like i am.. it has it in it) or another otc sleep aid. its more than likely temporary, or even allergy related

What you describe could very well be clinical depression and it's serious. You should see a doctor as soon as possible.

:wave:Maybe your body is trying to tell you something.. do you eat right ??? Are you worried about something? Are you taking anything for allergies? they can make you sleepy.

You should talk to your doctor. It maybe caused by stress or possibly you have a sleep apnea disorder.
How long have you been taking these marathon naps? Short naps will refresh you but having long naps each day is a cause for concern.

i want to hear what people hav to say, I might be blowing it out of proportion but i love to sleep and it is summer time so i am just extra lazy.
