I really admire Oprah Winfrey, I am just a few months younger than she is, and how much she has accomplished in her life is truly great. Her new project with OWN is fantastic. To try to awaken the world the way she has is outstanding. Can't live without her Super Soul Sunday show. :peace:

I had two role models: my late grandmother, who instilled in me the importance of an education. She passed away October 3, 1989 at the age of 83, 47 days before her 84th birthday. My aunt was my second role model; she was 15 when I was born, and we have always been close. She is 70 now and raising her great-grandchildren. She was a schoolteacher and the first person in our family to graduate from college. My grandmother would be proud that I am going to school and will graduate in December with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and a minor degree in Information Systems from Ashford University.

it has always been my mother, however recently i took a step back a realized i have become to much like my mom, including her health problems. That is scaring me. But when it come to my marriage i look at my grandparents as role models, they have been married 63 years, 64 God willing my grandmother to see sept. 4. She has gotten really sick. For awhile there we didn't think she was going to see last Christmas. My grandparents been through it all, and they still love each other as much as they did when they got married.

Ellen DeGeneres inspires me. She's the only celebrity that I fully respect and appreciate.
