Title: Police
Post by: mardukblood2009 on August 06, 2013, 02:33:04 am
Have you ever seen cops break the law? I saw a cop in my town make a right two different times without putting his turn single on. The one time I thought he was going to make a left and then he made a right. And no he did not have his lights on or was he after anybody. :angry7:

We drive the speed limit and most of the time if there is a cop behind us, he will pass first chance he gets and be out of sight within minutes. They don't drive as fast as some of the idiots out there, but they do drive over the speed limit.

i've also seen them talk on their cell phones while driving and make U-turns where they shouldn't....not going to any emergency, just because they wanted to turn around.

Oh man don't get me started on the police.  I was "raised" to respect law enforcement but over my 59 years I have advanced to the point of not trusting them as "far as I could throw them".
It is sad but they do what they want, when they want and have no respect for the people they are supposed to serve, even the law abiding ones.   :bs:

I've seen cops break the law all over this state and nothing is ever done about it. Personally can't really trust them or who could. The people protecting us some are crooked while some are legit. Sadly enough there job is to serve and protect not break the laws which there supposed to govern over

It has been going on as long as I can remember.  They are supposed to serve and protect, and will commit more crimes than they should.  I have seen an officer arrest someone for standing on the corner, but the crimes they should be going after (drug dealers, gang bangers, etc.) get a slap on the wrist. Makes you wonder who you can trust these days. :o :o :o

everyday !!!!!  turn signals to  texting while driving  :BangHead:

Come On !!

i actually saw a state patrolman  texting while driving on the interstate the other day.  I was in the passenger seat so I had a very good view when he pulled up beside my car as he was turning onto the off ramp.  i so wished i had had my phone to take a picture of him.

Doesnt your phone have the capability to take pictures? I worked at a donut shop over 28 years ago. A cop came in and sat down. He was eating his donut and having coffee. He got a call shots fired. I said to him arent you going to answer that. in a moment I am not risking my life over some a*****e.  This was back when crime really wasnt an issue. Now you cant through a half a day without hearing nonsense on the news. Thank god for amber alerts. Alot kids have been found because of it.

lol.  ALL the time.  They text, talk on the phone, use a computer, don't use turn signals, run red lights, run stop signs, speed, drive drunk, and the list goes on and on.  Word of advice...don't get brave and say anything to them about it.
They don't like that. lol

you can always report them or put them under citizens arrest pending where you are but at least that's how it is here in texas (united states)

You mean in regards to driving fundamentals? Yes, definitely, but I don't angry with them as I do when I see other people doing this. I just try to stay out of their way. I have never gotten in trouble, but I'm still cautious.

I have also seen this, even seen one run a red light. I questioned a gentleman I know that is a cop, and he said that some do take advantage, but that sometimes they see someone they need to watch and don't want them to see their car, so they don't turn on their lights or sirens, but still must follow, therefore they aren't really breaking the law. Don't know how much of it I bought, but that was his story.

Small town cops are the worst.  I believe the average small town cop makes several traffic violations everyday.

They are not suppose to run a red light or stop sign or speed unless they have their emergency lights on.

Not all states honor "citizen's arrest" and if you tried that in my small town they would likely tazer you.  No joke.
And it would be thrown out of a court and then you better not show your face in public because every cop in this town would be after you for anything they could get you for.   :BangHead: :angry7:

Police in my city never follow basic common courtesy driving.... Never turn signs and sometimes pass over a red light... It's very disheartening to see, but it's minor or negligible I guess
