Title: Movie Question!

Has anyone ever seen the movie The Car?
It's a 1977 flick.
I mean it's a good flick don't kid yourself but i was wondering
If Christine was based off that movie?
Like a prequel?
Does that word even exist?

Anyways i was watching the movie and it reminded me alot of the movie christine and was wondering if anyone else has seen/heard of this movie.

I had never heard of that movie, but since it came out a few years before the novel was written, it is possible! I remember reading once that Stephen King said he got the inspiration for the book after seeing a creepy car by the side of the road, but off the top of my head I can't remember where I read that.

I liked the book 'Christine' very much, but like most Stephen King movies, I was really disappointed with the film version. There's only a handful of his books that have been turned into movies that I've liked.

I've always had a thing for 70s horror, so I just added 'the car' to my Netflix instant queue - thanks!!

I've seen both movies and I don't think either one has anything to do with the other.  Christine is from a Steven King book. I don't know about The Car.
If you like movies like that, check out Maximum Overdrive. Maximum Overdrive is also from a Steven King book but the movie is way better then The Car and Christine.

I haven't seen it as I am younger, but Christine is a great movie that I enjoy. Also, Maximum Overdrive was one of my favorite movies growing up. It's such a cool concept of machines taking over. Lol.

Yes, I've seen this movie (& I don't even like scary movies).  It hasn't been too long ago that it was on TV.

No, never heard of it. However, I did see the movie "Christine" as a kid when they aired it on tv.

I've never heard of it. But I have seen Christine, it freaked me out when I first saw it when I was younger. I may have to check the movie Cars out.

Never heard of it.  Look on imdb.  That's where I always look for my movie questions.
