Look at the American Heart Association site. Good ideas are there for changing how you eat. You might have to tweak your recipes. I have tasty recipes, too. Search the web to find healthy recipes for the stuff you normally eat. Good luck, girl! ;D

Google "skinnytaste" and you will find my go-to site for all meals. The author of the site, Gina is the best. She lists WW points and other nutritional info for all her recipes, but I fell in love because everything is easy to follow and make. She's active in the comments too so if you have questions she may have already answered it or will respond to you.
Let me know what you think!

Try keeping some of your favorite flavors and serve them on salads. Chicken on a salad is one of my favorites.

I eat turkey hotdogs. Cheaper than beef/pork ones. Plus turkey bacon -also cheaper than pork. And healthier. ;D

in stead of a lot of fried food I would bake its faster and easier and to me taste better.

Avoid all junk food!

We all have our own health and foods that are "good" for each of us. I do just fine with dairy; however, I'm allergic to wheat. Lately I've been putting together a high protein pancake that I really like. It's a fairly simple recipe. It's 2 eggs, 1/2 cup oat or millet flour, 1/2 cup cottage cheese and 1 tsp. vanilla. I'm a person who loves a high protein pancake, whenever; breakfast, lunch or dinner.
It satisfies my desire for bread. I think as we learn about our own physical health we can customize a "food program" and recipes that we enjoy.

Grilled chicken + Lettuce/Bean mix with olive oil, pepper and oregano
Pasta aioli - quick, easy and inexpensive
Salmon + rice + Veggies = easy and not too expensive

Just eat smart.
