Post by: pmagalei on August 15, 2013, 10:50:02 am
Hey guys I haven't seen a lot of new movies that was released since the beginning of this year. What are some of your "MUST" see movies that came out this year? I just need to catch up, it's been a long time. Thank you in advanced. 1love!

WOW, I thought I was the only one. I haven't been to a movie in years. The prices are rediculous, and then just try and buy treats. Nothing worse then paying all that money then find the movie sucks.

Man of Steel was amazing (if you're into the superheroes.) Christopher Nolan, who also directed the Dark Knight series, does a great job in getting down to the root of what the hero stands for. I was absolutely thrilled with his portrayal of Batman and love how he brought about Superman. Now the next movie will have both of them in it. Very excited for that.

The new superman movie is probably the only reason I have even gone to the movie theater in the past few months. That movie was so much fun to watch i cannot wait for it to come out on DVD and Blu ray.

I've only been to one movie in a movie theater this year, and it was "The Great Gatsby."  I wouldn't consider it a "must" see, but I did enjoy it a lot.  There are so many other good shows to watch without going to the theater, and now that you can watch almost anything on the Internet,  we just don't get to a traditional movie theater that often any more.

This movie that I seen on-demand feature on my set is not new butt.....it was new-to-me movie .  Sorry not PG but..it is a part of our woman's suffrage history,..awe....shocking...one of the intent to move with the woman's rights.  If you are an adult in your soul, please watch this one that I found called, Hysteria.

I don't have a favorite 2013 movie...In the beginning of the year I planned on going to the movies to see some of the summer "blockbusters" (After Earth and Oblivion). I was excited about the trailers and everything, but then I started to hear bad reviews for this movie and that movie. So I decided to stay home and wait til they come out on dvd/demand. However I am curious about "World War Z", but I may as well wait for that to come out on demand too.

I can relate to that especially when you are so excited to see it and it turns out the movie has no plot. Or the kids are not at all interested. I remember one time we took all the kids to watch Mall Cop-Kevin James, we had the pop corn and drinks and the first 5 minutes into the movie my 4 year old said he wanted to go play the arcade in the front lobby. I ended up taking him because he started crying and I didn't even have a chance to watch it. My wife came out and said, let's go home. Moral of the story, never take young kids to a movie anymore. LOL
