Title: i like to play cards do you?
Post by: ilovepatrick on October 21, 2013, 10:16:43 pm: i like to play games but i really like cards. i think i like cards because it quick and you can take breaks. i like the social interaction and when noone wants to play you can still play games like solaritary

Post by: vernaj77 on October 22, 2013, 09:06:25 am: I love playing cards. I remember growing up there was always a card game going on every Friday. Spades, Bid Wiz. You know there was always someone who was a sore loser but enjoyed the gatherings. Need to start that back.

Post by: vickysue on October 23, 2013, 03:01:41 pm: Oh my when we were growing up that is the one thing we loved to do. My mom would sit and play with us and made it family nights with popcorn. We did not have a tv at the time. Even then we all took the time for family nights. My boys grew up with card games. I believe to this day that the parents do not take the time for great family nights.How canthe children learn to be a family now a days.

Post by: BJohnsonPP on November 10, 2013, 07:30:46 am: The last card game I picked up was Texas Hold'em. I like to play it, but I'm not really that good. Lost a lot of money playing it online. The poker sites no longer allow US players to play for money anymore though. So, now I just play the play money games which suck. Everyone plays every hand and shoves all-in all the time. I would love to find a play money game where people actually play as if there's real money on the line.

I love to play any kind of card games. When I was a young girl my family used to have a game night once a week . We would take turns picking what game we wanted to play. My older brother would always pick monopoly. I hated that game because he would cheat. I couldn't wait until it was my turn to pick the game; it would always be spades. My dad and I would pair up and always win. I really miss those days spending time with my mom and dad. You probably can gather, I am a sore looser. I didn't mind it if the game was fair. :heart:

When i was young i used to play cards all the time. Played all kinds of games such as hearts, uno, solitaire, hearts and clubs and etc. we always had so much fun.

I know several solitare games because many times I can't find anyone who likes to play. my favorite is pyramid because it is very challenging. when someone joins me it is either spades, poker any of them (don't play for real money) I like them all but my favorite is Texas hold em, also 500 rummy and gin rummy.
