Title: did you finish high school

i did i graduated when i was a junior and went on to college but i got pregant so i stop and now i want to go back so i can finish getting my law degree

nope..i quit in the 9th and got married...got pregnant and have been married for 36 years..have had 3 girls....now have 2 granddaughters

I graduated from High School and I consider that fact....a miracle.  Sometimes I still dream that I'm afraid I won't graduate.  Analyze that one.

I graduated high school but it did it at home through Penn foster high school  now I'm thinking about going back to school when I have the time.

Finished high school without accomplishing too much. Got a good job soon after. Got married soon after that. Had three kids and went to college as a non-traditional student about 30 years later.

I walked for graduation due to a friend's encouragement and am proud to say I did it, although I'm sorry to say it still didn't help me accomplish much more in life than if I hadn't gone.  :P

It's good for some, but useless for others.

Yes, I graduated high school.  I think my parents would have killed us if we kids didn't at least graduate high school.

Yes I did. But after I got married and had children I waited until my children grew up and I went to college to learn more accounting methods.

I dropped out when I was in the 10th grade.  I went to night school and got my GED certificate at the age of 17. :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Yes I graduated high school in three years for a four year program by going to Summer school and during my Senior year getting double credit by taking college courses.

I did finish. I actually went to college when I was 5 month pregnant and worked a job in a cancer hospital. I walked up a long hill for 3 months before I was told I can get a handicap sticker. Being a BLACK mother to be nobody said nothing till a young black man said you need to see HR.

I was lucky and was able to graduate and go to college too. My husband didn't have as supportive parents so he didn't finish high school and had to get a GED. Life is not always easy for everyone.

Yes, I graduated high school sixth out of 389 students.  I do wish I had gone on to college.  I didn't have any support from my parents to pursue college and didn't have enough in me to try it on my own.  That's one reason why I was so supportive of my daughter and did everything within my power to see that she got a good college education.  I apparently did a good job because she is 27 years old and still in school!  She has two bachelor degrees (chemistry and biology), a master degree in education and is now working on her PhD in mathematics.  She is currently teaching high school chemistry and biology in Lexington, KY.

I did graduated high school. In my place if you're not at least high school graduate you cant get a descent job.

Finishing high school isn't an option.  If you are under 18 you can be or your parents can be arrested if you don't go to school.  And if you go til you are 18 you can't lack much so why not just finish?

No I was too badly bullied, but I kept on getting certificates, receptionist, accounting clerk, CPR, but I am older person  :moneymouth: on my last class on on-line school.  I am putting my application at the WWE for administration assistant so cross your fingers on that because I really am.

I only had to have 1 class when i was a senior, but i did a few elective classes just because i had to be there for that one class. Later in life i took some vo tec classes and a few classes at the colledge that i need to move ahead as a manager in a retail store. Enjoyed them all. Now that i have had to retire due to medical problems i really miss working. I like it.

I finished high school.  I was the first person with a disability in the history of my county to attend my high school.  I graduated high school in 1995.

I graduated from high school in the top 10 percent of my class.  I did not have the money to go to college, so I went to a 10-month business class.  After working about 45 years, I went to night classes and obtained an Associate's degree at 65.  Now I taking online courses, hoping someday to get my Bachelor's.  You're never too old to learn.  I like learning for learning's sake!

Not at first. I actually dropped out in my Jr. year. I did go back and get my GED though. I guess I needed that year off to get my head together.

Finishing high school is free and easy. There's really no good excuse not to finish, and it's usually required for most jobs. Those who don't finish due to laziness or what have you are really doing their future a disservice.

Yep, just a few years ago.  I don't really think my parents would've let me quit so I just got it done with anyway.  College is so much better than high school in my opinion.  I like the idea that they actually treat you like a person in college.  My high school liked to treat us like children and then yell at us when we weren't acting like adults.  It was so frustrating.  I got to college and the teachers really didn't care if you showed up or not just as long as the work got done, that was certainly helpful for days when you felt sick and didn't want to have to go to the doctor to prove to them what you already knew.

I got my high school diploma and attended Jr. College.? Then I quit and got married. I finished and got an Assoc. Degree 5 years later.

Yes, I graduated in 1977; I was 16 years old. I have 5 years of college under my belt and currently I am not using any of it.  I should be ashamed of myself but sometimes a person just gets tired. I am taking a small break from work right now and will figure out if I will return to the work-force or just go ahead and retire. I have been working since I was a very young girl ( back when they didn't have laws restricting age limits) and I want to "smell the roses" so to speak. I do encourage that if any of you didn't graduate it is never too late. If only for the sake of boosting your own self- esteem.   :peace:

Yes, I struggled to get there, but I got there.  I graduated high school in 1988.  Although female, I was much more interested in athletics and being a "jock" than what should have been more important.

Yes I graduated high school and than went on to trade school and got pregnant during trade school but I did finish that as well.  In 2006, I went back to collage in 2006 and graduated in May or June 2008 and earned my Associates Degree in Accounting and let me tell you it felt good.  I say go for it!

I did graduate high school and was so glad to get through with it.  I was always so shy and would turn beet-red if anyone spoke to me so school was always hard for me.  Because of my shyness I never went to any of the activities that are associated with high school and I do regret that now but can't do anything about it.  I've outgrown a lot of my shyness but am still very uncomfortable around strangers and big crowds.

I did finish high school (in the uk) but my grades were so poor I decided to stay on another year and do the grades again. I got slightly better grades but looking back, it didn't help me get a better job and my grades were not so significantly different that I felt it was worth doing in retrospect. Never the less, I did get a nice job at a bank that helped me flourish and a few years later, a got a brilliant job at a recruitment agency as an Administrator and within a couple of years, got promoted to a recruitment consultant. So, even if you didn't finish or didn't get the grades you wanted, there is still a way, it just takes a bit longer or you might have to get it via a different route.

Yes, I graduated from high school. I have been out of school for two years.. And I am just not going to start college. It took me a while to realize that I wasn't doing anything for myself sitting at home doing anything all day. So I decided I wanted to go to school. And I am very happy with my choice.

Yes, I finished high school and I'm so glad I did. For me, high school wasn't such a terribly great challengel I had developed good study habits early in elementary school. That really prepared for the tougher studies in high school.

Yes I finished high school and later in my life when I was thirty and working in a bank I went to college to learn accounting that was related to bank office work.  I really like learning some new and am constantly learning whatever I can learn.

Yes, I finished high school many, many years ago and that was the best day of my life as I hated high school and was so glad to be finally out of school.  Afterwards I had no desire to go to college even though I had the opportunity.  Sometimes I wonder how different my life would have been if I would have gone, but that's hindsight.

i did graduate and my mother graduated right along with me.  i actually would help her with her homework.  i was so proud to inspire my mother to complete her high school education even if she was 40 yrs old when she did it.  my father however only has a  7th grade education.  i was a different world back when he went to school as he is now 85 years old it doesnt look like he will be acquiring his.  however he is one the smartest people that i know says a lot about the type of person that he is.

I did finish High School and went right to work being a secretary. I changed positions while working in a hospital, first as a medical record transcriptionist and then to the lab.  I ended up being a Histology tech, which I really loved doing.
