Yes the storms of December have been early birds pretty much all over the United States. Saw a weather map from this last storm that indicated only florida, alabama, and Louisiana were the only ice free states of the lower 48 states. Not even sure what was happening in Hawaii but I expect they were enjoying their warm weather as usual. But the ice storm that hit the DFW metro mess and Texas was way too early for it to be considered normal.

We finally have a little relief from the below zero temps! Got too 20 degrees yesterday, and 16 for a high today!

It was up in the 70's here in middle Tennessee the first part of December but now it is bitter cold. Winter has set in. We had a little ice here but was ok. Hope to get some snow in this part before winter is over. I sure do like snow cream. Hope everyone has a good day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.

I like it when I'm bundled up by the fire but then when we get the gas bill. UGH! lol

I agree!! I'm a New Englander too and this is very early for us to get this kind of snow. I have always liked a little snow but I'm fast getting to the point where I see it as a safety hazard and a lot of work instead of thinking " how pretty" like i used to think.
