Title: Christmas Play
Post by: smithjcsdfw on December 22, 2013, 06:09:54 pm
I just got back from attending one of my grandaughters Christmas Plays which brought back memories of plays I participated in and watching my children.  So have you ever participated in a Christmas play?

As a kid, yes.
I love watching the little ones learn a song or a line in a play.
They are so proud of themselves and it makes me smile.

I have never been part of a Christmas Play in the past or present. But I do know my kids have been participating in their school and sometimes in church plays for Christmas. In other words, I fail at acting with a capital "F".

My sister and I were in Christmas plays at our church every year during our childhood. One year I played the part of an angel and got a black eye just before the night of the Christmas play. My family received numerous comments about "the little angel with the black eye". That was quite memorable!

Never.  I did some plays when I was younger but I don't think we ever did anything for Christmas specifically.
