Post by: weaves5 on July 29, 2009, 02:57:40 pm: definitely not, i have never understood how it became so popular. i find it long and boring, i have no clue how people can sit and watch it. especially the people that go to the track or whatever its called and sit in the stands in 100 degree weather for 6 hours. not for me

It used to be that drivers had fun, now they are all cut throat and bullies on the track. I think it's a real shame...especially since I live about 15 minutes from most of the drivers!

It's much better than Indy Car Racing (IRL) My favorites are Mark Martin, Carl Edwards, Greg Biffle, Matt Kenseth and believe it or not Tony (Smoke) Stewart. I couldn't stand him a few years ago but he has earned my respect as a person, as one of the best drivers plus now being an owner. There are a lot of very talented drivers in the Sprint Cup, the Nationwide series and the Craftsman Truck series. I also like Jr Earnhart and wish he'd do better.

Practice, Qualifying, Races, Trucks, Nationwide even ARCA. If you think its boring then you just don't know enough about it. Half of the fun is the personalities. I have many favorites because so many of those guys are so generous with their time and money doing tons of work for charities. I admire that.
