Any type of bed as long as comfortable with your body, like us my husband have a sciatica problem so need to use firmer bed.

I have owned an Sleep number bed for about 15 years now, and I absolutely love it  You set the how hard you want the bed and there you go. I think hubby and I need to buy a new one too, since this one is 15 years old, but we will stick to the same kind.

Most of the responses seem to indicate that--though 'soft/fluffy' may be better for them--the firmer mattress is better for 'people with bad backs.' I wonder why that is ... I guess 'good backs' need to be less-'enclosed,' more-'free' :angel11:
The way I consider it, I want to be more-comfortable about my bed whether I'm sleeping in it or not! And softer beds seem to attract more 'bedbugs,' so I'm fine with a military-style mattress (I GUESS it's military-style. I've never been in the military, but my mattress reminds me of the beds I see in the quarters of STAR TREK's USS Enterprise ;) )
But the most-comfortable I've ever been in would have to be the 'hospital bed' (with the tilting-options ... a Posturpedic?) ... mostly because of the nurses/staff who keep it regularly-cleaned :-))
