Here where I live in South Carolina we've gotten 8 inches of snow and half inch of ice so far. Really intense storm!!

Really bad winter for some folks!

It's around 2am in northern NJ and just starting to snow -- expect 4-6 inches over the next 24-48 hrs. When it warms up and turns to slush and rain it will be worse.
I'd expect that in NC the ice will do more damage to trees and power lines than the snow. Hope you come through with minimal damage and no power outage.

Sorry to hear that the Southern states have the winter storm this time I'm up North by the great Lakes.

I thought the Carolina's were warm climate states? I'm from Northern NJ as well and it doesn't look pretty out there, and it's still coming down. We are expected to get 12-14" in some areas. It's starting to feel like Alaska out here! Schools are closed and my job has a delayed opening but I am not driving any where today! :bootyshake: Hope everyone stays warm and safe!

My grandson went to school yesterday. I then got a phone call that children would be released at 1:30 pm due to the weather. I am looking at the news right now. Today it is supposed to be 50 degrees, and some places may get as high as 60 degrees. We have not gotten snow, but we have had ice to formulate on the roof and the sides of the house. ??? ??? ??? ??? :rainbow:

Schools are 2 hours late here in TN. Looks like maybe a inch of snow. Some of the back roads get no sun and will be slick here.

Here in DC area the snow has been falling sine about 8 pm yesterday and still following adding up some slit and ice to the mix very unsafe

yeah and it just started to snow again..im in anderson,sc and so ready to see the sun come back out..i dont mind being stranded,just not fond of the cold.we dont get weather like this often.but not getting this type of weather often puts too many people on the road that definitely dont need to be there..our road is completely covered and so is our driveway.we will be stranded until it can melt down some.once we hit the end of the drive we have a hill either way to climb..so we will wait aawhile before venturing on the roads..hope everyone stays warm..and at least we haven't lost power,yet..lol

Yeah - still coming down. As long as the power stays on, I'll be okay. Stocked up on food and other items.

Its been quite a winter!!! Can't let the kids go out and play much b/c its' been soooooo cold! I'm looking forward to spring! :clover:

Here in PA we have 10 inches and it's only 11 am. This storm is suppose to last well into the night. Last I heard was 12 inches, but if we have 10 already I think they will change it.

This has been a crazy winter, here where I am at we have a lot of snow too; we hardly ever get snow

We now have 1 foot and they have changed the amount of snow we will get. They are now saying about 20 inches!
