my sister sent this to me because it is coming up on 2 years that our mom pass on and she knows i still am having a hard time dealing with it so read this it makes a lot of sense to me if you want use it to share with others. this made me cry. RIP mom
I am here
I know you wonder why i am gone, but in reality, i have been by your side all a long.....
When you feel the warmth of the sun on your skin it is me looking down at you with a grin....... When you see a small humming bird with it's bright colors and sheen it is me reminding you
that i'm not just a dream......
When you smell and touch a velvet rose it is me telling you that i am very close.......
And when those moments come and you wonder why i am gone Just remember... I have been by your side all along

My mother passed on nearly 18 years ago and my grandmother has been gone for nearly 25 years. You made me think of them. Thanks, aggie49.    :rainbow:

That's a very lovely poem and I think what it's trying to tell you is that although you don't see your Mom in the "physical" world, she's all around you in everything you do. She's never really left your side - there's just a thin veil separating her world from yours and, someday, you'll be together again.

That is very lovely and makes me think of my uncle (who was a grandfather for me and my brothers), he died very recently.
