Title: Do you like clam chowder, Happy National Clam Chowder Day?

Post by: jake20vt on February 25, 2014, 03:59:29 pm: I do not have any clam chowder recipes, but it's one of my favorites! There is a place I love to go to about 10 minutes from my house that has the best clam chowder. I've been trying to get their recipe for years!

I use to favor ones that you can get poured in a bread bowl, but you also a lot of the soup this way too, so I prefer outside of this now. I didn't know there was a day for this. They should make this a national holiday.

Post by: debidoo on February 28, 2014, 10:18:54 pm: I absolutely love clam chowder well the creamy New England clam chowder - for years I didn't even know about the other more tomato based one which I believe is Manhattan clam chowder - no so crazy for that one. Red Lobster is my favorite restaurant to get clam chowder.

I also enjoy clam chowder, but have not had it for a long time. Sometimes we get in a rut and eat the same things week after week.
