So I live in a quiet little suburban area in Illinois. Not too much happens here. Im still surprised to see that people put chairs out in our public parking lot to claim a space that is not reserved for anyone. It's suppose to be first come first serve. One person who does this is hardly ever there. People never cease to amaze me.

that doesn't seem right.
-
Yea that's a bit extreme. I agree, it should be first come, first serve.

I don't see this very often by people, but there was one person who I think was standing in the way to bait people to pay him. I'm not sure if that tactic works. I think people in my area are too aggressive and speak their mind if they saw people doing this - hence why this is particularly not encouraged.

Hey it's a free chair! You get a parking space and comfy seating :highfive:
-
Wow! That's not right! If it won't cause too much conflict, I think someone should move the chair.
-
Id go out and more all the chairs!!
-
wow thats too funny... :dog:

A chair won't stand up that well under the weight of your vehicle. Park on it. Problem solved.

To annoy the person or persons id deliberately park in there so called space and if they say anything about it id just ignore if they tried something harmful id defend myself and then have there but put in jail. It's silly and stupid to claim something as a parking space that's not reserved for anyone directly like a handicaped person or an employee that works in one of the buildings.

It does happen to the best of neighborhoods. I understand their reasoning because they are the ones who have to do the shoveling snow and then someone comes along and park there. If everyone got there and shoveled snow, you would not have that problem.
