I have seen people posting to clear your cookies before starting any tasks or surveys why? and how do you do it? ???
-
What browser do you use?
-
That is a good question aharr1. Me myself I still don`t know how to clear the cookies of my computer. Hoping somebody will their idea.

download a program called CCleaner. it can clear the cookies and temp files in no time at all :)

On your internet options it states to clear all cookies upon exiting the internet. all you have to do is check that box and every time you exit it is done for you automatically. If I am on for a long length of time I exit wait 2 minutes and go back on and it is done. I hope that helps you.

You can do it manually form your web browser threw options tab or you can download a free program which cleans up most of your days history/cookies.
-
In google chrome you click history then clear history, I think.
-
I have not done clearing my cookies yet, I`ll try it soon.
-
I dont know why they say to do it but I do once a month.

In most browsers type Ctrl+Shft+Del and it will bring up the screen to clear them.

Thanks Old Buddy...good tip..didn't know you could do that to clear cookies. I'll be sure to be using that a lot more especially before I start surveys.:)

I clear my cookies either during my usage and definitely after I have finished for the day. Not clearing the cookies can cause a lot of problems.

its best to clear cookies so the surveys dont think you've already tried them. i use a program called ccleaner to clear mine out. it's free and it works great~!

Try ccleaner, it clears cache, cookies, and unimportant information and it also speeds up your computer ;)

It depends on which browser you are using. I think it could possibly make your computer run faster as well. However, I don't know if that is true.

A cookie is a piece of data sent from a website to store info on your user's browser. Just think of remember email/password option, your browser will remember the information that logged you in the website. The reason why surveys want you to clear cookies is to remove the data they sent to your computer, so that it could not be track by a third party user/company.
If you want to delete cookies, find free to use cleaner programs such as CCleaner, Glary Utilites, etc. Your browser could also delete history/cookies under it's setting.
