He's very technically compromised and doesn't like "all them new fangled things." He won't even touch a computer and after 6 months, he still doesn't know, nor does he want to know, how to send or receive a text message. Sometimes he misses a call and brings the phone to me to find out who called. ::)

I'd love to have a smart phone but since that's one bill he pays, I have to be happy with what I have. No matter. I only keep mine for emergencies anyway. ;)

Everyone in my family has one. The kids have had problems with theirs: My son's kept shitting down and my daughter can't speak on hers with out using the speaker phone option. Both of them went to the Apple store. Apple replaced my son's phone immediately because this was a known problem that the phone was having and it was within the first ninety days of him owning it. They wanted to take my daughter's phone and charge her sixty five dollars to fix it. She has become very attached to her phone and respectfully declined.

It is not a smartphone, but it does have all sorts of neat features like the ability to send a song along with your texts that the receiver gets when they pick up the text (IF they also have an LG phone, that is) and some cool alarm and photo features too. And the service only costs $10 a month on a family plan. I just love it.

At least with an ATT family plan it's $20 unlimited texting across all lines

This one's a Pantech Breeze IV. Not many features, but that's okay.

I have used Swagbucks to pay my bill for about a year now. Every month I make sure I make a minimum of 5,000 swagbucks and cash it in for a WalMart gift card.

I have an HTC One and since my wife works in a classroom it would be hard to imaging going back to before we both had unlimited text messages. I also use texting for all my Network Marketing referrals to connect better.

I have an HTC EVO that drops calls thanks to Sprint, so I'm biding my contract time with a very cheap plan. I have a ZTE from Tracfone that is garbled. I have 2 old Motorola 370 phones from Tracfone that have the best reception of all. I think the best phone I ever had was a BlackBerry Curve. When I upgraded to a Bold, it dropped calls.

That's more than enough for me as I only need it to make dr. appointments, stay in touch with my children's school and text when I'm out running errands.

I bought a new battery and am going to look into security software for it but that is as far as I want to go with phone costs for now.

When I first purchased the phone I was a bit skeptical because you can't add memory to the phone. But I've had my phone for about a year now and I haven't even used half of my memory up yet. And I download games and apps all the time. I can't wait to get this phone paid off so I can upgrade to the Google Nexus 5. :)
