I am looking forward to my family stuffed cabbage on St. Patrick's Day.

We always celebrate St. Patrick's day because its my brother in law birthday.

My best friend is Irish and has always celebrated St. Patrick's Day so as a result I have gotten into the habit. Besides I'm sure we could all find a little Irish in our backgrounds if we look hard enough. It's a fun day!!

It is an Irish holiday. In any case, you are to wear green to keep from being pinched. I remember being pinched because I didn't have on green for St. Paddy's Day and it was not great. My grandson goes back to school today after being out of school for Spring break for an entire week. I made sure he put on a green shirt. :clover: :clover: :clover: :rainbow:

I don't celebrate it.

I don't do anything to celebrate, usually don't even wear green! I don't have much anything green and just make a point to tell everyone first thing "Don't pinch me. I'm serious." Haha. Mostly it's just another day -- but it is also my cousin's birthday so that's cool. :) :clover:

It is a good excuse for that. I think it has do with St. Patrick, whoever he was. He may be the one who drive out the snakes out of Ireland with his flute. I like the pinch if you are not wearing green. Top Of the Morning to ya!

It is more of an Irish ancestry day than anything else. I think I have just about every nationality but Irish in my family.
