I have tried numerous times to submit a copy of my payment checks for credit, however, my copy is too large. what am I doing wrong and how can I fix it?
-
What program are you using to edit?
I always use Paint and it always makes it the correct size to upload
-
I use Paint myself, and never have any trouble getting the JPEG's to be correct size.
I suppose if you were scanning your check itself it might come out too large...you could however shrink the size of the picture itself, or white out the excess from the image to reduce size...you might also be able to reduce quality of the scanner itself

I wanna say that I used Paint with mine. Been a while but you should be able to just shrink the size of the image to stop it from being too large to submit.

You scan your check on your computer. Scan it in your pictures file. Go to your start menu and click paint, click file on paint and choose to open. Open your picture of your check in the picture area. A picture of it should show up on the paint area. Then press file again and press page set up, click fit to and have it 1 by 1. Press save and save in pictures as a name you would know but different then the one you already have in pictures. Sometimes you can skip the scanning situation and just go to paint and click open from scanner and do the rest of it.
