Title: looking forward to special events planned ahead of time

do you look forward to a special event in the future? [example:a family reunion that has been planned for some time]
do you make lists of what you'll need to bring so you don't forget anything?

Unfortunately, no.  Our family never really has any events like that any more since my Daddy has passed.  He was the real planner of us all (and had the biggest home).  Now, it just seems like family is there but not as active as used to be.  It's kind of sad.  My mother has remarried another terrific gentleman, but has moved into a small apt in a senior's building, so it's just not practical there.  But I do want to thank you for the post.  I am now thinking of starting some planning myself maybe somewhere like an outside park and seeing if the event will go over.
