Title: Minecraft
Post by: alina6 on April 26, 2014, 08:20:04 am
My son has been playing MineCraft a lot lately on the Xbox. It is somewhat interesting in that it requires him to be creative. Does anyone else know of any other games that are like that?

My son is addicted to that game. He is 14 yrs. old and he probably started since he was like 10 years old. Yes he is very creative and has build his castles with much work.

I really don't know of any other game.

My six-year-old grandson has been playing about a year.  He loves it.  He plays against other players, too, and has learned a lot of code words.  He is a very smart child (even if I do say so)  :)   I don't know of any other types of games like that, but I will ask his parents. I think it is a very game that teaches creativity.

Terraria is like that but its a 2D sidescroller and it have alot of bosses (MC have only the ender dragon as a boss) some like MC more then Terraria and some like Terraria more then MC it really depends on the users taste.
Im using a PS3 and bought Terraria by digital download  :cat:

Both games sound like fun, I think I will look for it for one of the grand sons birthday.

Minecraft is a great game. I've played it a lot myself. It definitely engages you in a different way than a lot of other games.
